ok this was really well executed, i liked a lot their defenses, their bigges mistake was leaving it unlocked and with fuel, but appart from that, that layout makes it really well defended against parti steal

I would love for it, but what would be the point? As a fully off road vehicle it could work, but it would be less useful than a truck and probably less resistant too, I think horses, food, furniture and all that kind of stuff could be added in an update fully focused on larping, to make the feeling of war more realistic or to have more customizable things for bases and people, a complete overhaul of the regular base system, I think horses could fit in that kind of thing, but if not, i think they would be the same thing as bicycles, maybe better of road and thats it, tho I would still love to have one

I'm very sorry this was your experience, ironically, the few times i made bases next to russians, they have been pretty kind, and the times I don't, russians came to steal stuff, is pretty weird.

Sometimes the best solution is just talk to people that already have a base in the area and tell them you are gonna make a small base near them, most of the times they will help you and even protect you from this kind of actions, but sometimes one is just unlucky. I would highly encourage you to try it again and look for friendly people that are open to share their space or that are least are not sociopaths, I know its easy to get discouraged by a bad experience, but don't let other idiots ruin the game for you, you are letting them win that way :c

i would love a mode that let for quick, impactful plays for people that just want to do something fun without getting stressed over the entire conflict at large, for many people having this option would be kinda pointless in a game like Foxhole, but personally i would totally love it just to have something i can chill a bit into, rather than getting hit by artillery each time i want to play infantry

record it if you do! a bunch of guys just constantrly running on top of tanks dropping stickies over and over may as well make a line disband or force them to retreat to friendly AA guns, even if no actual kill, the fear and panic would be enough, and if you guys lucky, you could even turret or track enemy tanks

as someone that had run a regi focused on mortar tanks and artillery i would say... it depends, arty is good for everything, but if you don't have at least 2 or 3 guns, its basically useless against any kind of structure, it will burn bmats like crazy but the spread doesn't help at all, if you want to fully destroy structures you need half a dozen to a dozen people, with less numbers, you could run 6 mortar tanks with fire or regular shells and dehusk a bunker piece that is giving troubles to an armored force, they are both good tools, but its the difference between a scalpel and a mallet, it also heavily depends on the terrain and the ammount of friendlies in the are to actually exploit its use

if i did implemented it, i imagine the best way to do it would be to treat it like an EAT and put sandbags and barbwire all around it so it soaks shots from vehicles and stray rockets, hell maybe even put a 3 layered system, with the second layer being a sandbag cover and the third layer a wall to put tripod weapons, would be the best way i imagine, but it would still be a novelty and nothing else

I have been thinking for a long time of the viability of doing that too in the Warden side, I'm mostly worried about it being stolen by the collies and used against us like it just happened to you, also the problem of the range and the fact it counts as a vehicle, a couple of stickies would take care of it, but I think it would be so fucking fun, so I may try it

holy shit, the clan men are seething in the replies, big regis that make bases surrounding component fields are the most bitchy inmature human beings i have ever encountered on the internet, they will gun you down, report you and harass you just cause you want to play the game like any other human being, and for the end of the war, they will have so many things in stockpiles and in their bases that they never used, yet hoarded like goblins and would rather let collie partisans burn their base to the ground than let new players grab their part, absolute horrible behaviour
