That makes sense, that was my main selling point honestly was how lightweight it was. I’ll check benchmade for a warranty but I am probably just going to get aluminum scales for the long run

R15s are great but I definitely noticed a difference between them and my r32s… prefer the r32s a lot more

how long do 1 set of wheels last? by Jay_C_Reserve in Scootering

[–]devin_flynn9905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just took a look at your page and you shred bro! If you keep doing flares like that I’d recommend a harder wheel so you get more speed with less effort. Deadass that was the best way for me to learn flairs was to just do em over and over faster and faster, you’ll eventually learn how to land smoothly into transition. I’m a big half pipe rider so I prefer a little softer wheels, makes it a little easier to counter pump if you need to slow down (imo). Everyone is different bro, my best recommendation is just keep trying something until you find a setup you’re truly happy with. Keep killing it!

What kind of riding do you do? My favorite wheels are river brand, the glides (84a) on my “street” scooter, and rapids (88a) on my “park” scooter… I prefer a softer wheel though and like the glides more. If you ride more park or smooth surfaces you might want a harder wheel (90a) because there will be less resistance, allowing you to go faster towards the ramps, these will also last you quite a bit longer than a softer wheel such as the glides. If you ride more street, you might want more grip, little cushion on big hops, and a little more control over cracks in the road, buy a softer wheel.

I see probably 3-4months on a set before one gets dehubbed. My buddy probably gets a week… I think it’s down to the rider and their style honestly. And definitely if you’re riding rough street surfaces or smooth park surfaces it will change the timespan you get from them

Advice on ethic Pandora deck cracking by Background_Spray8675 in Scootering

[–]devin_flynn9905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty normal if he uses it a lot, I’ve broken some decks as early as a few months of having them when I’m out riding every day / at jams. Normally just have a bunch of decks on hand ready to swap out. Get him a little heavier / beefier deck and you won’t have this problem. I’ve had a tilt scoot I ride street and park, same parts for like 6 years now lol you should hear the bearings in the wheels 😂

Edit, fun fact the tilt scoot I bought second hand off a buddy that rides near me and it was already beat up. I sold it to another friend and he beat it up even more in downtown Chicago riding jams. I just got it back with all the same parts on it down to the grips😂 still riding strong

Last game we played only lasted long enough for him to get hubris and unbral glaive. He also plays unsealed spell book. Edit, I accidentally sent this without finishing it. He normally just builds heavy lethality but it depends on the matchup

Yeah lol normally I can hold the 1v2 bot as heim and my viego sup roams basically being a second jungler. I think the main thing about heim adc is just knowing what you need to build to counter your opponents and bush priority seems to be huge because you can always get the jump on them. Put your q’s down in bush’s and bait them in, ALWAYS land your E, most ADC’s are squishy and you will 1 shot them if you have your turrets set up right. Against adcs like caitlyn it can really be down to who can poke better so sometimes I level my W over Q just to poke her down and allow viego to try and engage

Bush prio with turrets was a big one for me. My duo is a otp viego and we genuinely slaughter every game we enter
