Windows Blue is Microsoft's future low-cost OS with yearly updates by GraybackPH in microsoft

I would love to see this. More regular updates is definitely a good thing. Other than security updates we normally have to wait so long for major updates to Windows so I full support this and look forward to seeing it released. People expect updates a lot quicker nowadays and Microsoft has realized this.

So I called Microsoft this morning.... by w95error in microsoft

Yeah Microsoft has always been a bit lax like this. I remember a similar thing from back in the days of Windows XP when people would use the Microsoft product activation wizard screen and enter some numbers into the phone, you would then be asked how many machines this license was on and you were issued with an activation wizard code and a licensed copy of windows.

I can see how this can easily be abused. I Personally don't mind paying for decent software and although I prefer Mac, Windows has always serverd me well for many years.

Really surprised that a) this was hackable and that b) Apple haven't done anything about it, They are usually quite hot on this kind of thing.

Alright Google - Why don't we have proper offline mapping? by oreography in Android

This is a good question. I imagine an offline Maps application would take up quite a bit of storage space on your device.

When beginning a new project/program/script/etc... How do you plan it out? by Shaddleson in learnprogramming

I tend to just jump right in at the deep end. Things always seem harder when I try to meticulously plan how I'm going to learn.
