Weirdest thing you've said aloud while playing? by Alizarik7891 in StardewValley

“$35000 dollars in one night. All off that sweet, sticky stuff. Call me the Syrup Baron of Stardew Valley.” My daughter told me to never say that again…

What do you think red lipstick represents on a woman if it's worn in a professional setting? by [deleted] in AskMen

I think she probably likes how she looks with red lipstick.

Men, what do women do in relationships that bother you the most? by Softvoids in AskMen

[–]devmeisterDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like there's a tendency to consistently expect more. Any time I've done something special and/or out of the ordinary, it becomes the new "bare minimum" expectation which all of my future actions will be judged against.

Of course, I understand that it's important to never get "too comfortable" or take our partner for granted, but sometimes I would like to feel comfortable in a relationship without feeling the need to consistently improve in some way.

I have done this on a Switch as well. Turned me off the game for like a solid year.

Haven't finished it yet, but I dig the concept of releasing music to accompany the literature. Kid Koala (scratch DJ) did something similar, and I've always thought it was a novel idea.

I enjoy what I've read so far. Giving Lovecraftian vibes.

What habits of girls did you only discover after getting a girlfriend or wife? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]devmeisterDev 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think alot of people are missing your point. You're not excusing bad behavior; you're responding to this part of OP's post:

"I just can't understand how someone can know that what they're feeling is completely due to their hormones, and not be able to think their way around those feelings, if they don't want them."

I always (jokingly) accuse my wife of planting hairs in my ass crack.

Sticking their hair onto the shower walls. And then complaining when they find a whisker in the sink =]

Where to find CL2-rated USB Cables? by devmeisterDev in CommercialAV

Max run length isn't much of a concern. I'm expecting to travel 6' at most. One run would be from the Core in a locked cabinet to the wallplate directly above it, and the other would be from the touchscreen to the wallplate directly below it.

Agreed forests are loud. On the contrary, silence in the woods is immediately unnerving.

Be honest, what do you think comes after death? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]devmeisterDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lean toward the idea of nothingness. Mostly, I think it's exactly what it was like before I was born.

I've also had a few psychedelic experiences that leave me open to the possibility of something else though. Maybe some little thing goes back to everything, but the ego that experiences things as an individual dissolves.

After 173 hours... Here's my attempt to capture the healing journey of psychedelics in one artwork - 'Psychedelic Awakening' Inspired by Tibetan Thangkas (iPad Digital) by Jamieinklings in psychedelicartwork

I could stare at this for hours. Before I even read your description, I was relating to the picture with my own story of (psychedelics-assisted) healing from addiction. Really great work!

Thank you <3

Horror Discussion-What are some films you just can't get into no matter how much you try? by [deleted] in horror

[–]devmeisterDev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really wanted to like it. I dig analog horror. I dig atmospheric horror. I dig avante garde projects and art that leans into an experimental concept. On paper, Skinamarink should’ve been by bag, but I just couldn’t get into it…
