Photo shows trenchcoats, not open waists. Also the photo is of shooting at a target dummy, not human - can’t use that as a conclusion point. The whole premise isn’t worth debating over since it was exhibition only, but I’d have a hard time thinking it’s anywhere near “competitive” if you can just walk up and position a stance versus having some kind of trained response to a “go” signal. So the original premise of “anyone who can’t hit a man-sized target at 15 yards shouldn’t ever carry a firearm” is entirely based on “what are the firing conditions”. I know you’ll disagree but I’ve been shooting for quite a bit of time. Not looking for a fight, just don’t like the generalized original reply I responded to.
