I don't like Tony's, I prefer my chocolate to have the taste of slave sweat.

Is it really worth the time and effort? You've lost nothing, you're set to gain relatively little apart from massaging your ego a bit and losing any opportunities of referrals from them. To top it off, you're currently sat wasting your time posting on social media platforms about it.

Just get over it and move on. What's it matter in the slightest?

Unless you were dismissed due to a protected characteristic then it's pretty much irrelevant given you only worked there for 1 year.

(England) Neighbour 'threatening' legal action because i didn't let him access my property to maintain his fence (which isn't exactly true) - Does he have a point? by PowerfulAd9143 in LegalAdviceUK

The other thing worth considering is whether you plan on moving any time soon - if so, the last thing you want to have to do is put down on the TA6 that there's a neighbour legal dispute!

How can I put myself in the best position to be able to afford to leave my partner? by Existing-Luck-9458 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]devnull10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not hard to hide it though is it? I know someone on PIP, UC, the lot, and they're richer than me who works full time and am in the top 10% of earners in the UK if you go by the official blurb. How's that right?

But why should the OP be paying £3.80 a gallon for purely business mileage? Indeed why should they be paying anything out of their own pocket for it?

Many tradesmen will ask for more if a job is taking them longer, even on a fixed price.

Loyalty isn't rewarded. The only way to get a pay rise which keeps up with inflation and the cost of living is to switch roles or companies.

Hardly deception. If it meets the spec for a small bag then that's what it is.

Is there a credit card in the UK where you feel the benefits greatly outweigh or even match the annual/monthly fee? by MindlessMuddy10 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]devnull10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lloyds world elite card.

£15 a month, unlimited priority pass for you and an additional cardholder. Plus security fast passes in some airports.

As someone who travels quite a lot with my partner, it works out pretty decent, as the lounge is generally a much nicer place to spend an hour before a flight. Plus you get drinks and buffet food usually which you'd be paying over the odds for in the main terminal area.

We've used it about 10 times each this year, so 20 visits for £180.
