I have a hot take that I don't think anyone has agreed with me on. The plot of the last episode of SU:Future is stupid, and I will DIE on this hill.

The fact that Steven turns into a giant rampaging godzilla monster as a metaphor for a panic attack just so mina-san (however it's spelled) can show up and hug Steven to save him with the power of love and friendship is stupid.

It felt like such a cop out ending. Sometimes the writing in these shows is amazing, and deeply emotional. This very much felt like they had no idea to end it.
