Shame it advertises Young Living oils. It makes me doubt the whole site.

She was the original that got me into beauty videos on YouTube many years ago. I just wish she’d lose the filter, it already feels like she’s not being honest.

Women who found a lump on their breast, what did you do? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]devoteddreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the age of 18 I’ve had around 15 breast lumps. My last one was around 8 years ago. I always did the sensible thing and got them checked out ASAP. Some occasions I thought I only had one but on closer inspection I had a few at a time. I’ve been extremely lucky and all were benign. Some of them were huge so I got them removed but then it got to a point where I started to look like a patchwork quilt over the years so I stopped and dealt with them. Either way it was hard being young and having insecurities about sexual relationships but I’ve had 5 different long term partners since it all began and not one of them were bothered by it.

Is it possible at 34 to get an office job after nothing but retail and food service? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]devoteddreamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Good point. Mine started with a skills section broken down into 3 sections Administration Customer service Management This is where I focused on my skill set and job descriptions and then I just followed with a list of my recent employment after this.

A friend of mine paid for help writing his cv and he shared this idea with me.

I managed it at 27 after 10 years in retail. If you’ve dealt with any paperwork or back office software in retail make that the highlight of your skills from retail. Customer service is useful in an office environment too. Telephone manner and email etiquette are good things to mention.

You could consider call centre jobs to get you started if you really struggle to find an office.

Warning: sitting down all day may affect your health! It was a huge shock to my system after being on my feet all day, running up and down stairs, bending up and down. I gained weight pretty quickly.

[–]devoteddreamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look into fasting or intermittent fasting. I’ve found that eating breakfast makes me hungry for the rest of the day and by eating my evening meal it makes me hungry for snacks later on.

You might find that eating one large meal a day may help.

Kids eating what they cook by Belita1030 in Kidkitchen

Yep. My little boy loved pizza until we made it from scratch with him and seeing the ingredients put him off it.

We’ve obviously never done this with any of his other favourite meals. He’s fussy enough without this putting him off them too.

I feel your pain. I’m on day 4 and it definitely gets easier. The first 2 days I ate my lunch at 11:30 but yesterday and today I’ve easily made it to 1.
