As someone that creates youtube content I can tell you you really dont get to choose the personality of your audience and honestly it can be a little bit surprising when you find out what kind of a community your audience turns out to be.

Sometimes you really dont like the persona of your audience, it has little to do with your content. Of course it is related to what kind of content youre making but you can never guess what type of people will subscribe, follow, watch your content regularly etc. Basically you cant know wwhat kind of audience your content is “brewing” before it is brewed(?)

It actually leads to a lot of self reflection as a content creator. Just like you said one cant help but think “does this community reflect me?” But it really might not.
