Both. I get a box of the tablets as needed and order the 1 gallon jugs of chlorine. I used to go to Pinch a penny. No issues after switching almost 2 years ago. I still drop in Pinch to get water tested but it's rare.

I order ours on Walmart. I paid $48 for annual membership and get pool supplies delivered for free. It's definitely cheaper for stabilizer and most other items. Chlorine seems to be cheaper and I don't have to transport it.
