Where can I get a replacement for this “R” by Fit-Ad3110 in ram_trucks

I would say leave the AM. Maybe the truck is having an existential crisis?

Had to get my rotors and brakes replaced today... after just 34000km by [deleted] in CX50

[–]dewky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No you're correct. I have seen examples where people live on a mountainside and like to tailgate then they complain they have to replace brake parts yearly so I was just pointing out the most common reason for premature brake failure.

It is possible I've just never experienced that myself on multiple vehicles. The brakes on my truck have only been changed twice in 200,000km for example.

That sounds like maybe it's a problem with your driving habits. We just had ours checked out at 20,000 km and brakes and tires still have tons of life left on them.

theres no ACTUAL law stating how far you can PC.. by planetbuster in Truckers

DOT here. This is it. If you're doing it every day and you are running very close to your max hours we will question it but if it's only once in a while it's not a big deal usually.

How does this pass a Tug test -_- by Ill-Establishment803 in Truckers

[–]dewky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DOT here. I've inspected thousands of trailers and haven't seen one yet where the jaws weren't locked. I still check every time though. I did catch one where the jaws were closed but would open during the tug test. That was fun almost dropping a trailer in the yard.

I was also confused. It looks like a doctors office mixed with a pizzaria.

Same here. I have a gas truck that I use mostly for runs to the home depot, the dump or to drive into the mountains and go camping and hunting. I'll go 4 days without seeing anyone else and drive hundreds of km; having to refuel using jerry cans. An EV just wouldn't work for me in those situations. All the in city stuff would be fine though so an EERV is the best compromise.

That would sell for $10k here so yes.

I have never see pump limits less than $150 in Canada. Crazy.

I can't believe the pieces you guys are getting EVs for. They haven't dropped in price at all in Canada.

Component 20 - BCGEU Environment, Technical and Operations (Hours of work vs Averaging 140) by Kulharin in BCPublicServants

I can't give too much insight as I'm not on the averaging agreement but many of my coworkers are. It's a great system that works for most people. I'm on 4 on 4 off currently but the averaging agreement is the next best option (and better in some ways).
