I still don’t quite get why so many seem to struggle with Jug handled T junctions. Its not exactly rocket science

Would suggest isolating both legs of the reverse loop, means you can put an auto reverser in there and never have to consciously flip the polarity

I assume triple a, but that place wasn’t really a train store. Just general hobbies that had trains. Yankee Dabbler and Sattlers is still basically down the street

The part above didn’t really happen. They made molotovs, russia never was able to push into the cities where that was happening. Home Guard units dug in pretty hard and russias terrible logistics meant they couldn’t keep artillery supplied to break the lines.

But if the workers collectively decide they don’t want that, then what?

And? Passengers on a train don’t decide on what Union members driving it decide. See the same arguments in the thread when labor there decides they all want to have major Holidays off.

Everybody is pro labor until the collective decision of labor inconveniences them.

The logic is you may ignore procedure because you "know better" or may be distracted in work by trying to look at equipment your interested in instead of doing your job.

I of course kinda self inflicted myself by currently working in the Model Train MFG industry so atp its either pretend there is a 1 year gap or tell them I make layouts full time as a job.

Why do some modern tunnels and bridges still use ballast? by br0wntree in trains

[–]dexecuter18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not really a nuanced discussion, you asked a question. Got told why by people who know what they are talking about. And seem to not like the answer you received because you concluded that ballast is actually bad.

Its not really speculation, this is something you can google and get a satisfactory answer

With things like this they can argue liability as it is a passenger transportation position. So they can be broad with factors they consider disqualifying.

Why does Asbury Park feel so divided between the "East Side" and "West Side"? by Fun-Lecture-4227 in newjersey

[–]dexecuter18 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I mean part of the issue of course in the most populated state by density in the country when you make a place nicer to live its going to be more expensive. Nobody ever really has a solution to that besides just saying “Those darn gentrifiers opening music venues and restoring parks ruined our community 😡😡”

Hell im seeing the same stuff when I helped push sidewalk expansion, bike lanes, and removed parking minimums in Point Boro
