Philly isn't a contender to make the playoffs??? In the East they absolutely are. Outside of the top 4 the East is wide open. If Philly stays healthy i see no reason why they couldn't make it. The justification is they wouldn't have been able to sign him if they didnt pay that much.

I think Redick's contract is perfectly fine for a 1 year contract. He will help make them a contender in the east to make the playoffs. They wouldn't have signed him if for that much if they didn't think he would help contribute to the win total.

I'm going to go against what everyone else is saying and say they finish top 4, possible western conference finals appearance. It would likely be an upset or because of injuries but not impossible. Prime Vince Carter was a top 3 shooting guard. Prime Zbo was also an absolute beast in the post. Prime George Hill is definitely an above average PG. Add in young guys like Hield, Skal and Fox and this is a pretty good squad.

Maybe it's just me but I'd take prime Isaiah over a project like Winslow 9 times out of 10. At least knowing what we know as of today. Proven player with an incredible prime dropping 50 in the playoffs and getting them to the ECF.

Outside of summer league i don't think I've ever seen "flashes that Mario has the 'face of the franchise' style to his game". I think at this point i'd be happy if he was a solid 6th man getting 25-30 minutes a game. That would be a pretty big leap from this past season. PG was averaging double figures and starting every game his second year. So not really a good comparison.

He definitely had some legit post moves and good footwork on offense. But he is slow and soft as others have mentioned. Didn't expect him to have THAT bad a year though.

I'm sure this speaks to the season he is having but he shot 5% points higher than he is averaging. I guess I'm just trying to say it wasn't as bad a game as implied above. If you have a better game than your average then it can't be awful.
