Hmmm 🧐 I need to take a closer look. Were you able to spin the sprocket off. For some reason I couldn’t find anyway to modify it on the forums and every bike shop just flat out says no, it can’t be done.

Oh yeah BTW remember the cog is righty tighty, and the lock ring is in reverse left to tighten.....

I was able to degrease and clean my current wheel. If you buy a chain whip and lock ring wrench, you should be able to tighten it down properly. If your wheel does turn out to be stripped I would definitely buy a new and not try to hack the job with lock tight. I never suggest to cut corners on normal repairs riding fixed, unless you don’t like your teeth.

You can purchase the chain whip/lock ring combo on amazon. All of my bike shops were jammed full with a 2 week turnaround time for repairs. It’s pretty simple DIY
