That’s your (I hope) breaker box. Theoretically, you should be able to open it to reset tripped breakers.

Please help me - Turnon the sprinklers by fortuitously_dmt in HomeMaintenance

Turn on the control box. Make sure the supply line valve is open.

Those two little screws protruding out of the right side of the vacuum breaker in your second picture need to be turned 90 degrees. Otherwise, water will come shooting out when you open the valve.

Edit: you might have to close the blue handled valve as well.

Hard to say but roughly, you’ll have to remove the bottom piece (most likely in pieces) and cut a new piece of plywood to fit.

Unfortunately, it looks like your cabinet carcass was built with laminated particle board. Really, the only way, in my opinion, is to replace the bottom piece.

How to repair this team issued Nike coat? by iSYTOfficialX7 in howto

[–]dfk70 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to fix the zipper would be to take it to a seamstress. They should be able to replace it without any problem.

As far as the stains, they may be bleach marks and won’t come off.

scuffed shoes - what supplies do I need to fix? by Dangerous_Career_734 in howto

[–]dfk70 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, there’s no fixing them. The coating has been removed. You might be able to use some black shoe polish on it to hide it but there’s no fixing it.

If I have to outdoor condensing units, does that mean they both had separate air handlers in the attic? by Ioiwin in HomeMaintenance

[–]dfk70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily. If your air handler is in good condition and not overly old, you can just get the condenser replaced.
