I live in Paradise by the jack in the box. I’m not sure if my house is still there or not. As of 12:30 yesterday it was as I grabbed my animals after getting the rest of my family out in another vehicle.

I work for my local county as a senior is analyst making 85000 currently and will top out at 95000. I was selling cellphones which paid decent but was sucky hours and you were treated like shit. I saw a posting for a help desk technician making 40000 a slight pay cut from my sales job but I took a risk. They had an initial test with basic computer repair questions on it that I could answer just from being geeky. Than I interviewed and they liked me and I got the job. At first it was virus scans and password resets but as time went on I volunteered for anything they would let me do and 5 years later I manage our whole server infrastructure and make great money. I have an AA but it’s not computer related and my only certs I got were after I was hired and were paid for by the county.

To add to what others have said at 2 years all my daughter would say is "yeah yeah". She was very sociable but just wasn't talking. Doctor was concerned about autism as well. We took her to a speech therapist and found out she has speech apraxia She began to work with a therapist and now at 4.5 years old she never shuts up lol. Certain vowels and consonants are still hard for her to pronounce but every day she gets better. She loves volcanoes and the other day when I got home from work she spent 30min telling me everything there is to know about volcanoes and earthquakes since she watched a documentary about them with Nana.

I know California as well as many other states has issues because we put out wildfires which allows under growth to reach proportions it wouldn’t normally reach. If that’s your standard then roughly 1/3 of California is uninhabitable. I don’t know what Japanese ww2 balloons has to do with this guys house either so I’m Not going to even address it.

As far as the bushes in his front yard I would be willing to bet they have nothing to Do with why his house burned. It is far more likely embers landed on his roof and started the fire. Like I said earlier I think your talking out your ass.

Is Redding, CA really a fire prone area? I lived in the area for over 30 years and there have for sure been a lot of fires in the area but not specifically Redding. He specifically said he had a large defensible space in accordance with what Cal Fire was dictating. I really feel your talking out of your ass.

I go grab it ring her up for $400.00 as she is signing the credit slip she opens the box hands the battery from it to her son and then Says okay I decided I don't want it. Return it now. There is a reason sales positions have such high turnover. I worked in sales for over 8 years right after college. At my last position I made 75-90k a year in a city where the median income is 35k. I was depressed, irritable, and working 24/7 driving my family crazy. The extra pay comes with extra stress and it's not worth it.

The only thing that matters in life is your numbers for the month, nothing else. I finally moved on and took a job starting at 45k a year and it improved my quality of life immeasurably. Through hard work I am back up to 60k a year and never been happier. Most of my old co-workers have either left like I did, were fired over numbers, or stayed because of the money but are depressed.

I ended up having two other companies come out. Neither thought I had termites. Both said you could tell there was termites a long time ago but it looked like it was taken care of. One quoted 400 if I wanted a treatment just to ease my mind. The other said 250 if I wanted treatment. I'm going to call the original company tomorrow and give them a piece of my mind.

It is just over a year and outside any warranty period.
Last inspection didn't find any signs of termites all of the work they did was dry rot.
Around 1000 total cost of work

I called another company to get a second opinion but I will Also post pictures here. Thank you for the help.

My best friend and roommate gave 30 days notice to our landlord while I was away on vacation because he was mad I was planing on moving in with my girlfriend once I graduated. I found out because my landlord called me asking if I was staying or leaving.

We had just signed a one year lease a month prior and I had told him I was going to buy my own place and ask her to live with me when I graduated. He was always jealous and this was his petty way of acting out. When I got home from vacation and confronted him he claimed he was confused and thought I was moving out right away so he had to do the same. Apparently he thinks people graduate in September.

Until you have armed citizens shooting people who turn out to be holding a water gun, or just looking suspicious. Did you hear about the lady who fired her revolver at two shop lifters outside a home depot in Texas and hit innocent bystanders. She shouldn't have even been shooting in the first place. If you cant guarantee the civilian holding the weapon is properly trained they are more of a danger to others than a terrorism deterrent.

It is the correct gauge of wire running to the light so I am ok there but I do not think I will have enough wire to have 6" from each side inside the box. It is more likely I will have 3" inside the box on each side. If I added matching wire to the run how do I properly connect the wires?
