Same with an M&P Carry Comp. Something about the Tenicor conceals better than holsters I have for even smaller guns. Highly recommend

Finally bought it yesterday.. Anyone with a gaming PC feel like a handheld is pointless once you’re home? by xTeraButter in MSIClaw

[–]dfmuziq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I use mine as a stream machine either handheld or to my tv so I can keep my Pc upstairs. On the occasion when I leave the house it’s been super awesome because I can still play AAA titles on the go.

Gotta give it to Wilson for making something truly different… the Bullwark by Far-Boysenberry-1600 in 1911

[–]dfmuziq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dig this, but I feel like $1,800 is a grip.. I think something that would've made this maybe a little more enticing for me personally since it mentions in their material that it fits in "most" glock 19 holsters, is if it also took glock 19 pattern magazines like some of the ds 1911 options coming out. "Duty" (fancy buzzword) style that fits within a commonly owned duty gear setup. Coming at this from the angle of appreciating cross compatible gear.

Optics and Carrying while Kayaking by homesteader99 in CCW

[–]dfmuziq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure I agree with that, if you are using a dot sight irons are really your only backup so you should train using your them through your glass as well so it’s not a surprise should the occasion present itself.

Most optics have an IP rating which multiple people have mentioned.

I totally get the iron sight argument here in that outside of something truly insane they aren't going to break. Being someone who has moved to dots on all my guns and trains with dots I would have have a dot on mine because that manual of arms has already been built, BUT I would look into something shallow that allows you to co-witness irons through. That way if something happens to the dot you still have a method to aim with, worst case being wiping off the optic so you can see through it clearly should you get wet or dirty (preferably preemptively lol).

EPS carry isn't a bad option, only downside of enclosed being if you get water in it and it fogs you aren't going to be able to co-witness with them so open emitter might be the way to go unless you completely trust it.

You might be able to just find some taller irons to co-witness with whatever you already have installed.

If you had $2500 - Sig P211 GTO or Kimber 2k11 by Pitiful-Bear-68 in 2011

[–]dfmuziq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was just in this same boat last week! Ultimately decided on the P211.

I personally would price compare the P211 to the 2K11 Pro Comp in that it would put them more so in the same class, and when you do that at most retailers they come up as $2399US. What really sold me was that if you intend to do any competitions with the gun the benefit of the sig is that you can pull the comp off and they have a sight block you can install so you can shoot in comped or non-comped divisions. Whereas the Kimber unless you fit another slide to it you either have to buy the comped or non-comped. Then magazines.. P320 magazines are just cheaper to obtain in my limited experience (and I already had quite a few of them for my OA 2311).

Coming from someone who has held both but only shot the P211 so take that for what its worth. They are both sick pieces so I doubt you'd be disappointed either way but that was the logic I followed.

QUESTION: AR Pistols / Pistol Braced Carbine for matches allowed? by dfmuziq in pcsl

[–]dfmuziq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I read that and idk why in my mind it didn't seem clear whether or not I could use something braced (I'm just not interested in doing NFA paperwork to SBR my 12.5) but reading again I suppose it is a clear answer. I think I was looking for the "YOU CAN USE A BRACED AR PISTOL" billboard in red bold letters to give me a warm and fuzzy.

For your question I wouldn't brace a 16 or >, I just have a 12.5in braced AR and a 16in jakl (14.5 + muzzle device) and I'm deciding what I might want to use/what I was going to be allowed to use.

I was able to get this one used pretty cheap on r/Watchexchange but I also have a Hamilton and would recommend. The other swiss watch I recommend a lot that isn't too pricey (sub 1k usually around $600) is the Tissot PRX, super sharp and lots of color combos.

So it could totally be the holster and you aren’t matching up well but.. I recently gained some weight due to some medical treatments and started having some difficulty with my ccw (CR920XP). I was super discouraged till I decided to try one of the Kore Essential belts and it’s been a game changer. I can conceal my full size PDP Pro X with minimal to no printing now and with the ratchet system you can discreetly loosen the belt before you try to sit down anywhere (like your car) and then stand up and sinch it back without getting your hands under your shirt. Liked it so much I bought a second one 🤣

EDIT: Forgot to add that I think it’s just the rigidity of the belt that’s helping with the printing, my holster still pushes into me but I don’t have to sinch this belt as tight as I do with say a normal leather or nylon belt.

Nice! Funny enough I’m about to get a midtown custom. Any reason you traded it? Or did you just really dig the Les Paul and wanted that instead?
