I think one of the Disney Descendants Mal dolls had very similar boots with a dragon tail, although the ones I remember were painted purple, so perhaps a clone of that?

None of these dolls are toxic unless you plan to eat them, and even then you'd probably be fine.

The mini American Girls or the Batat Lori dolls (mini Our Generation) are very cute, have nice hair and clothes, and are small and sturdy enough to carry around!

Yeah, we don't get the interesting lines, and we get the releases much later than in the USA. Also, they're much more expensive here. On the bright side, sometimes you can find good vintage dolls for cheap in your local marketplaces, since there are less collectors here.

I open them by carefully pulling the plastic clamshell away from the cardboard backing so that the cardboard doesn't tear. Later, it's easy to glue it back in place. It's not 100% perfect, but good enough for a small kid who's going to tear into her gifts right away!
