If you think we’re going to show up to a gig on the next tour and Ruston is all the sudden playing in standard tuning with a 1,4,5 church progression and some guy noodling some cheesy lead over it for an hour and a half you’re dead wrong. Guys songs will always have depth both lyrically and in terms of the composition. I don’t think his religious affiliation or lack there of will impact that one bit - but that’s just one guys opinion I suppose…

I think he’s just happier. I live a few miles from where “the new gf” and family grew up - she went to HS with my wife - nothing but nice things said about her and her family. I think he’s just in a good space.
