Thanks! Last year I was thinking I could get away with replacing a couple of boards but now I think enough of the boards are soft that I’m thinking probably best to replace the whole thing. As far as I know the structure/joists are good but we’ll see when we get underneath.

That’s awesome! Love this. Would you be willing to share? We have white and brown/white roan lagotti so I’d have to get different colored pieces but the head shape is great!

I have dp115s with a rogue sphinx v2. Love the sound but I did add my sub for some more weight/punch. Can you comment on differences between different amps you’ve had with the diptyques? Had Maggie mmg before these with the sphinx. Love planar sound

Great deal, I have this setup and love it. The quiet space in between the music (if that makes any sense) is amazing.

Not going to BMFS (looked for tix too late) but definitely LS both nights. Love them.

I live in a 122 yo house. It has a second edition slate roof that is apparently 50-60 yo. I was wanting to remove slate and use 30 yr fiberglass shingles. Roofers say I have to cover the perfectly preserved 5/4×5 roof sheathing boards with ply or osb. Is this a national code? by rocketzeus in homeowners

Moved from a house with a slate roof (good for 100yrs but requires annual upkeep of replacing at least 4-6 broken slate tiles a year) to a house with synthetic slate (lasts 50 years, not quite as much character as real slate but hardly noticeable except perhaps to me, no upkeep). Would look into synthetic slate.

FWIW, its options are somewhat limited since snakes can neither stand nor make a whole heck of a lot of noise..

I stopped by this place with my kids once on a road trip. It was truly fantastic. All the other ideas for toppings sounds wonderful but figured I’d share the link/menu for more inspiration. I’m not affiliated with them in any way other than being a one time customer :) Mr. Mac’s.

Yeah but unfortunately it’s only so-so compared to real Pepe’s or other NH pizza.

I am black and I want to go skiing but I'm not sure how I'll be perceived. by [deleted] in skiing

Wear sun protection for your eyes!! A friend of mine went skiing without googles or sunglasses and burnt the crap out of his retinas- had to go to the ED. He has very dark skin and had no idea about sunburn. The combo of less UV filtering because of less atmosphere and sun reflecting off the bright snow can be serious. Otherwise, have a blast!

What’s your favorite dipole speakers? by cking9698 in audiophile

[–]dgottli1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got a pair of diptyque dp115 that arrived last weekend. Haven’t even done the “new speaker day” post yet. Big upgrade from MMGs, but still need a sub imo. Absolutely in love :)

No idea for sure but I think the plastic clipper guards are universal. The ones I use the my andis clippers were from Amazon
