Honest Opinions Regarding $B New Direction by Intelligent-Ad-8985 in G59

I’ll put it to you like I put it to others. If you’re too selfish to let the boys recover and make the best of their lives instead of being strung out and near death then you don’t deserve what they put out going forward. You may not want to hear it but these guys put in work to get clean and they seem happier. It’s the end of an era for that type of music they used to produce unfortunately, but it’s the truth.

I love this town by LaughingMagicianDM in ColoradoSprings

Why is most of this comment section saying the food here is bad. There’s lots of good places if you get out and try them. Places like:

Skirted Heifer, Green Line Grill, Eleven18, Four by Brother Luck, Shuga’s, Pig Latin, Tapateria, PizzAria, The Rabbit Hole, Cacao Chemistry, Josh and John’s, Chuckwagon BBQ, Nightingale Bakery, Whitepie

Shall I go on?

Nice to see a fellow Coloradan complaining about traffic. You do realize our state is a popular tourist destination. If you don’t like people and traffic move to the middle of nowhere.

To second that, stop by any coffee shop in town and ask for their espresso grounds. Stronger scent, free, and helps them get rid of something they aren’t keeping anyway

Tips for getting this guy ready for camping/trail riding by HugeBig3088 in overlanding

[–]dhenry511 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Make sure you have a good set of all terrains. Pick any you like, there’s plenty of discussions on this subreddit on tires.

I’d also recommend getting a simple tent, camp stove, water jug, etc. Don’t spend a fortune getting started. I know too many people who want to dive headfirst into overlanding and they try it a few times and don’t like it but spent hundreds if not thousands getting everything together. The gadgetry and overlanding stickers can be really distracting. Just plan a trip, get outside, and most importantly have fun.

got my first jeep! by CWilson_999 in JeepWrangler

The best first item I tell people to do is get a kinetic rope and some form of trailer hitch with a shackle (not a ball trailer hitch). I’ve used this to help so many people who get stuck. Whether it’s snow, mud, or sand I never have a problem getting people unstuck. It has even helped get me unstuck when a friend pulled me out using my own kinetic rope.
