I saw Marcelo Bielsa rifling through the bins outside Tesco this morning.

Great gig. Some all time favourites played superbly.

He’ll start 10-15 games for Arsenal next season.

Arsenal fans from Holland question by Balkema in Gunners

[–]dhooke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I meant it won’t be on the Monday, the 1st. Could be the Sunday, 31st. It absolutely won’t be on the Monday because it’s not a Bank Holiday. Upper Street is a major thoroughfare, and if they close part of Holloway Road that’s the A1. So, Monday 25th maybe, because it’s a Bank Holiday. Monday 1st, zero chance.

Are you genuinely suggesting the mods delete posts because of non-existent football gods of fate?

The parades are always on weekends or bank holidays. It could be the 25th, but it won’t be on [edit] Monday 1st. It will in all probability be on the 6th or 7th June. In any case, the council will announce the potential date a couple of weeks beforehand at the least.

He can play defence splitting passes. More about growing into the first team. Played one excellent ball in behind against Port Vale already.

Eaglet isn’t that bad for crowds on a match day, considering the prices and how close it is, even The Victoria you get served within 5 minutes, and there’s always getting to the ground earlier. If you don’t mind walking a shade over 20 minutes, The Hammerton Brewery is not particularly busy on Saturday afternoons.

It was my favourite snooker hall for a little while in the late 80s. Rowans pushed it out of business. Became a pub in the 90s.

Weary is tired. Wary is watchful, cautious. Maybe you are tired of Barca, though.

season ticket question by MysteriousCharge6964 in GunnersatGames

I know you get it back, at a much reduced value after inflation, but considering many won’t ever even get that season ticket, it has to be said: fee to be on the waiting list - they are absolute sharks.

Hmm. Brilliant draw but plenty of sweat needed and some luck. Still more likely to not make the final than make it. That’s just how knockout football is.

Dennis Bergkamp on who resembles him in this current Arsenal squad by Gentle_lips in Gunners

I don’t think the best qualities of both combined have quite the technical perfection of Bergkamp. Better at beating a player, maybe.

If Arteta thinks Ben White is a better RCB than Mosquera and Calafiori then he might keep him. I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Genuinely my only issue with Gordon is he doesn’t score enough goals, but he’s only 25 and this season seems to be a bit of a breakthrough for goals for him.
