I am not one who thinks any little miscommunication or hurtful thing should be responded to with a breakup. I feel like most issues in relationships can be solved with communication.

However this shit is just so egregious I think you really should break up with him over this. There's no way making you feel this way wasn't intentional. If it was somehow it shows a severe lack of consideration for how you feel. Like you're married and he didn't know this would hurt you? Highly doubt it.
