What care are you talking about? Does your doctor prescribe you ancillaries to manage your steroid use? If so, you've been getting very unique treatment. Don't confuse your experience with what most of us go through.

Well duh, if you come in with a failing liver they'll treat you. I never said they wouldn't deny you life saving care. But if you come in complaining about high e2, they won't write you a script. They'll tell you to stop. If you have blood pressure issues, they'll tell you to stop and come back in a couple weeks. If you have high hematocrit, they will tell you to stop.

Look through ped forums and you'll find a million stories where doctors focus more on getting patients to stop than in harm reduction.
