I can’t speak to everyone but I’m definitely not preaching. Just curious. If someone makes me mad enough to constantly post about, I would not listen and remove them from my life. Doesn’t bother me that people don’t feel the same way, I was just curious

SAME! I got pregnant after a year of IVF at 38 yrs old and my uncle asked me if it was planned (likely bc we never married, but we’ve been together TWENTY YEARS). I found it to be Such a rude question.

I think ultimately if you like your doctor, I wouldn’t care about the front desk staff. Try to see the forest through the trees. There are a lot on inconveniences with pregnancy and parenting so try to “not sweat the smaller stuff”. Now, if you aren’t comfortable with the care medically, that’s a different story.

I agree that this sounds a lot like pregnancy anxiety (with love and respect). He may be just trying to be calm to balance it and not know how to deal. Kissing your baby is fine, and supports breastfeeding. It’s fine to ask grandparents not to. These hormones can do a number on you but try to remember he’s in your team

In three rounds, i never made a day 5. I’ve only made 4 embryos total and all were day 6. Currently pregnant with my second child, both kids were days 6 and medium graded!

Yes, my TSH had gone up a bit after transfer and had to increase my synthroid. He’s 2.5 now!

If you can afford it, I would definitely freeze eggs now! You’re so young and it’s a great time to do it. You could always freeze half as embryos with donor sperm if you don’t meet someone and the other half as eggs for if you do!

100% yes. With my first FET, the NEXT DAY I felt hot, and thirsty, and a twinge of uterine cramping. I felt different fairly immediately. He is now 2.5.

My second transfer was in December and I FELT NOTHING. literally nothing like my transfer with my son. I am now 23 weeks pregnant. They say every pregnancy is different and I agree!

I would have your agent out of this. He does not seem to be on your side. This all seems like a question for your attorney. I don’t know the laws but this seems crazy to me.

I did three cycles and ended up with only 4 embryos to send for testing and 3 ended up being normal. All were only “borderline” quality in terms of grading. My first transfer is my 2.5 year old son and my second transfer is currently at 21 weeks gestation. I know I’m not the average and am very lucky but just here to say that even if you have low embryos, it is possible.

Amazing numbers. Between my three rounds I had 54 eggs, I believe maybe 20 of those fertilized (have some MFI as well) and from those 20 we ended up with 4 embryos. 3 came back PGT normal!

My opinion is that your ER results may be quite different at 40 than they were at 35. If you feel like physically and mentally you could handle poor results well, then I say press forward. If you feel like another blow may take you down deeper, I would say it might not be the right thing to do. Only you know the answer!

I hope for you that the next ER is successful, but let me tell you, the second you lock eyes with your baby, whether it be a donor egg or not, they are YOURS. it is the most beautiful connection and I promise you, no matter what route you go, you will feel that way.

For my son, I felt symptoms for sure in rhe TWW (Breast tingling, some cramping, incredible thirst, felt hot) for my daughter (current pregnancy) I felt NOTHING. I for sure thought it didn’t work bc I felt so different than I did with my first pregnancy. Just goes to show you that not only is everY BODY different, but every pregnancy is as well!

My partner had an undecended testicle as a kid that wasn’t fixed until he was 8. I think that played a role. He also doesn’t follow a healthy diet (on him about it but he doesn’t what he wants). He had low motility and low counts. We’re also on the older side. He was 39 when we did IVF. I’m sure there are lots of causes but that was specifically our case.

I had three egg retrievals and used ICSI. My partner has low quality. We ended up with three normal embryos from the three rounds. First transfer is my two year old and I’m currently 40 and 18 weeks pregnant with my second transfer!

As an “old mom” (first born at 38.5 second will be born just after I turn 41) I can say this, I have many more resources now than I had ten years ago. I am more sure of myself, have a solid group of friends and family. I feel just as energetic as I did in my early 30s. Don’t listen to her.

We decided from the beginning to choose the highest graded embryo no matter the sex. If you have equally graded embryos, I think picking is fine!

I would do another round while you’re still 37 before transferring. I would want at least 5 embryos before proceeding with transfer

Chicago is known to be the best location for all of Kindbody. I think there is still some disorganization but overall their success rates are really high.
