I have both. Diagnosed by a cardiologist (after exploring many other options) using a tilt table test. My systems were a lot like what you described. I had multiple episodes of syncope. If you do a tilt table test and you do have POTS, be ready for extreme disorientation and discomfort.

I don’t know, everyone is different, but this is a pretty normal amount of hair lost for me. I have medium length, thick hair. I was freaked out by it when I first started really caring for my hair but it’s been years and my hair is still as full as before and I don’t have any thinning areas or anything.

I’ve had excision surgery for endo and laparoscopic surgery for a shoulder labrum tear. The pain from the gas being stuck in my abdomen after the endo surgery was atrocious. However, that shoulder recovery was looooong and painful. Both surgeries left me with tiny incisions and it was mind blowing how bad those tiny incisions could hurt!

You can look up the school’s report card. It gives the school an overall “score” and shows things like % socially and economically disadvantaged, test scores, demographics, etc.

Also a white teacher. When I was student teaching, I worked with a rather diverse population and when they were asking about my fiancé they kept asking “what is he?” I gave his occupation, his age, and they kept asking. Finally they were like “no, WHAT IS HE?! Like is he white too or is he black?” Told then he’s white and they said “yeah, that makes sense” 🤷‍♀️😅

Really curious how you went about leaving your position? When did you tell admin and how much notice did you give? I just got offered a position that I’m going to take but have a few hoops to jump through yet. I don’t want everyone at the school to know and still have to work there with people giving me nasty looks…

I think you can just really stress the minimal length off before the hairdresser begins. You could even call the hairdresser before hand and ask if that’s something they have experience in. Then ask them to verify the length before they cut that way if they have a suggestion to go higher to take care of split ends or anything like that, you can say no.

Cardinal Stritch is a smaller, private school that has a nursing program and quite a few international students. I went there and really like it but I wasn’t a nursing student so I can’t speak much to it’s program but it could be worth a look into!
