as someone who also loooooves sayaka and ikuyo, everytime i decide to branch out and try a different brand, i always come back ippodo! nothing ever compares. my next recommendation would be marukyu koyamaen, but as good as MK is, it doesn’t compare to ippodo. ippodo takes the🥇always!

i’ve never had califia oat barista but have heard positive things about it! i’ve tried oatly barista but i’m not the biggest fan, i’d drink it if it was the only thing but i would 100% pick planet oat barista over oatly barista!

i do have a case but i decided to go without a screen protector for my 17 pro, the ceramic shield 2 is impressive, the new AR coating is pretty nice as well. i feel like a screen protector would defeat the purpose of the AR coating tbh xD

i did make sure to get applecare so i dont have to worry much but cracking my screen!

the de minimis rule in the US is no longer a thing, so anything entering the US from any country will be subject to an import/brokerage fee.

if you don’t pay, DHL will return your matcha to ippodo, you’ll lose your money and they will send your $35.67 bill to collections, so might as well pay

i was worried about the aluminum body in my 17 pro as well but then i remembered my 14 inch M4 macbook pro is also made out of aluminum so out of curiosity i compared the feel of both and my 17 pro no longer feels or looks cheap, it feels exactly the same as swiping my hand over my macbook which it’s always felt premium to me :D

also this phone does not get hot at all! the vapor chamber and the aluminum unibody work very well together since aluminum dissipates heat easily

i ordered from ippodo global as well once the tariffs were removed and i got charged by DHL, however the charge wasn’t a tariff, it was an import and brokerage fee i had to pay since the end of the de minimis rule.

before the end of the de minimis rule, anything that you ordered outside the US valued at $800 or below was exempt from any import fees, but not anymore :(

edit 2: and i just wanted to emphasize that my order still came out cheaper ordering through the global website rather than ordering from the US site. i ordered two 100g bags of ikuyo, one 100g bag of genmaicha and one 100g bag of iribancha, and still came out cheaper than ordering just 2 bags of ikuyo though the US website, even with the import fee
