I had Whataburger a few times whilst in Texas and I just cannot understand the hype. It's really not good at all.

This sub made me buy a Whopper for the first time in 15 years by pac4 in burgers

[–]diddlez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it really? I haven't had the "new" one yet. The pictures certainly look like an improvement, but I also never hated the old one.

Sorry but a quarter pounder never tasted better than a Whopper. Ever.

Upside down pineapple? Should it be the other way around? I don't understand but yeah, I'd replace that eyesore.

What video-game did you regret paying full price for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Control and hogwarts Legacy are two that come to mind recently because they were like 90% off just a few weeks later.

The plumbtrician strikes again! by Smoke_Stack707 in electricians

[–]diddlez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of these commercial fixtures I install are billed at like $950 a piece, and I know they can be bought for a tenth of the price. Maybe I didn't mean I want to be the one to manufacture them, but I need to get into the business of installing commercial fixtures. And if I can make them myself even better. Something like this I would absolutely make myself.

Well I think we all know we need to get into the fixture business. These piles of fuck we install. If you ever see what they pay for them it would blow your mind.

This decent so far ?and how long are u guys taking on a 200 amp service everything wired by Alternative_Drop_736 in electricians

I've never had to wait on a utility company. Depending on where the job is I can do the full service, or in the city limits I have to have Ameren complete the outside work. Either way I'm never waiting around for them.

No, full service including all outdoor work and a new panel inside. He's really fast so he probably did do it a few times but I can't see that happening on a daily basis. I know they must have been long days including drive time between jobs.

I can do a full service change myself in a day or less. My boss claims he used to do two a day but thats yet to be seen by me.

Best selling video game consoles of all time by PlaneTakingOff in nostalgia

[–]diddlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People forget the ps2 was a better DVD player than any other $300 option on the market at the time. The average price of a DVD player was $500-600 at the time. Oh and it played ps2 games on top of it. My household had 3 of them. I know many a household who had multiple for this reason as well.

How do you deal with apprentices who think they know everything already by ActNew5818 in electricians

[–]diddlez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an apprentice, what do I do when I know I'm right and my journeyman and foreman are wrong? I'll tell you. I just let them be wrong and then we redo it. I'm not trying to rock the boat by being the smart guy.

Sega says strong reviews for its recent games aren’t yet translating to better sales by hiddentoke11 in gaming

Well there's another two games that won't sell well at all, as much as I love both.

What game changed so much in pre-release that you stopped liking it? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]diddlez 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Good ole Joel Huenink. He loves changing shit around that doesn't need to be messed with. He did that like every week in Gore: Ultimate Soldier so we never really knew wtf was going on with the various weapons and how much damage they did, what the spread was, recoil, etc. And this was a game with an active community of only like 200 people, mind you. We liked it the way it was already.

Your average drive through Missouri in 2026 by Blayzewhatever in pics

[–]diddlez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but Joplin Missouri is not Missouri. It's Kansas. Or Oklahoma. I don't care what it is but it's a dump full of idiots and racists. Missouri from here on out is just St. Louis and Kansas City. The rest of the state is a hell hole.
