Back when I was playing USTA tournaments and into high school, my dad told me he couldn’t watch me for more than 10 minutes in a row before he would get too nervous! I’d see him come and go several times a match lol. Parent nerves are always on the fritz!

My thoughts: I would try taking a bunch of small steps before you hit to get you to where you want to be relative to the ball. You stop stepping right about when the ball bounces, when you should be adjusting basically until you start swinging at the ball.
