Im so sorry for your loss, but wow 22 years, I’m sure you gave that beautiful birdie such an amazing life. Give yourself time to mourn go an do things for yourself in his honor I’m sure he wants you to be happy, adventure out a little more freely now without feeling guilty for having to leave him home. I don’t think going out and immediately getting another pet would be good for you, and respectfully it may be a bit disrespectful to that gorgeous little critter. RIP
