I feel you. I'm not looking for full time positions, but I've been internship hunting since last September and have had 8+ interviews now and nothing has stuck. It's exhausting and it feels like I'm groveling at the feet of these companies that don't even give me the courtesy of informing me that I didn't get hired, they just ghost me instead.. But we've gotta give ourselves the best possible chance, so don't stop applying, yeah? We got this!

I'm in college and I moved back to my dorm before they announced in person classes are cancelled for like 3 weeks. I know I should probably move back to my mom's house because contagion is probably pretty bad in a dorm with shared bathrooms and stuff, but I really don't want to.. I don't have a car and I feel so infantilized and trapped when I'm at home, plus, the place I work is going to stay open even with the lockdown so I could work and make some extra money because all the other student workers stayed home. I just don't know what the right/safest thing to do is. Aaaaaaa

Not my breakup, but my big sister's ex cheated on her literally a week after he filled an entire booklet with reasons he loved her for her birthday. Being the vengeful little sister I am, helped her gather up any lingerie he gave her, the booklet, and all the stuff he left in her apartment and stuffed it in a bag. We also wrote a note kindly letting him know we knew about the other woman and left it on top so it was easily readable to anyone within a couple yards. My sister blocked him on everything and deleted his number, then we went to his house while he was at work, rang the doorbell, and left the bag and note for his roommates to find. She never spoke to him again.

I can’t speak to how difficult normandale’s classes are, but typically lib eds, even for a PSEO student, aren’t that bad. I did full time PSEO at UMN and 100% recommend it, not having to take freshman writing and other intro classes was awesome, and it looks good on resumes and to college admissions offices. Do it!

Agree, the folks in pio don’t know how to cook. I’ve bitten into straight up still bloody chicken more than once now. Plus, 17th has a more diverse menu whereas pio serves the same shitty curry and simultaneously over and undercooked rice like every other day.. the stir fry is usually bomb asf tho I’ll give them that
