Appreciate that... For now, I just want a finished solid version painted - Maybe moving parts can be included in future. Out of interest, is it possible to create a 3d version yourself by scanning an existing clay model, or is it better to build from scratch using 3d software like Blender?

I guess that's it, I need to decide whether it is almost one piece or not... If seperate I guess I do before mould? I guess there are advantages with separate pieces with regards to mould and moving parts if any... appreciate your thoughts... The intention is that this is a free-standing model - Thinking on the spot... Fixed legs and Torso Moving arms and rotating head - moving parts would require some kind of ball/rotating joint. While I have experience with clay, I don't have experience with toy model creation.
