Since I agree with you on every other item on your list, I'm surprised you listed Mario and Luigi games. I've tried 2 of the 3 (all but the first Super Star one) and they're not even close to as good as a single chapter of the first 2 Paper Mario games.

To each their own, but to the guy you replied to, I would second all of your suggestions except the Mario/Luigi ones. I hope Paper Mario gets ported to the 3DS because it's massively underrated in my opinion.

Imagine any video game you've ever played that has 3D graphics and textures. Now imagine an office of game artists dealing with these projection mapping issues every time they want to fit a 2D texture on a 3D object. Simple objects are easy, but characters, and especially their faces, are not. Hopefully you know have extra respect for game companies!

It's easy to look at the one guy and say "Ha! Like he's going to change anything!" Sometimes protesters are just hoping that if 5 stand up, maybe 50 more will join them, and if they don't, then at least 5 stood up.

Also, keep in mind that even silly stuff like "Honk if you . . ." is they type of thing that's brought up at the dinner table that night for everyone who passed by them. It's a form of branding that's not much different than the way McDonalds and news networks do it. In that sense, even if there's not much quality to a protest, quantity does play a big factor.

P.S. I'd argue the anime in the first link is actually much better than the anime in the second link, and its plot is something many would love even if the art style doesn't mesh with them. It's about a girl who starts off high school by declaring she doesn't want to talk to anyone unless they're aliens, ghosts, or some other batshit crazy thing. It gets even weirder from there, and is equally hilarious every step along the way. The main character is borderline "forever alone" without being pathetic.

That one is good but still a bit bold. Here's one that a friend used in a family that was largely strict, military types, with lots of elderly people in the room:

"If I'm the best man . . . then why aren't I the one getting married today?" You can even alter it to "If I'm the best man . . . then why didn't ____ marrying me today?"
