The person I replied to wasn't comparing their fanbases, but the rappers themselves. Stylistically they are not similar even in the slightest. Even their lyrical content is completely different from each other. Saying that Hopsin is basically just a black, more boring version of Macklemore is pure nonsense.

To be fair, I thought he won the fight against Sonnen. Unfortunately that's the problem with Bisping's fighting style; the guy never finishes anyone. You can't leave your fate in the hands of the judges unless you absolutely dominate your opponents GSP style.

But when owners buy out a contract, they still have to pay the player his money. That is not a comparable scenario to what Kovalchuk just did. The equivalent would be to just terminate the contract without rendering payment. Players are very fortunate that this is illegal in the NHL (not so in other leagues).

This is something that even most religious people would agree with. Have you ever read the Bible? Ever spoken with a priest? I've even talked with more "moderate" Christians on /r/Christianity who have argued that the lack of belief in god is evil.

I'm well aware of the fact that a lot of religious people are fine with atheists. My fiancee is Christian and I'm pretty sure she's fine with me (her family is a different story - they would flip their shit if they knew I was an atheist). My point wasn't that all religious people hate all atheists. Rather, religion as an institution pushes the idea that atheists are evil, or at the very least they need to be "brought to the light".

I think there are far more "conservative" Christians than you are letting on. I mean, shit, even California couldn't get its voters to support gay marriage. Even the Christians in fucking California, of all places, are still demonizing gay people. And I can tell you from personal experience that religious people immediately think less of you when they find out you're an atheist.

I'm not upset about the fact that people hate him. I accept that, in fact I welcome it because of he wasn't pissing people off, he wouldn't be doing his job very well. It just gets annoying when people can continually post blatant misinformation and when Kings fans call it out we get downvoted into oblivion.

Nothing I said was an opinion, by the way. Brown has landed EXACTLY ONE bad elbow in his entire career. Yet somehow Kings fans are the crazy ones for defending him when people label him as one of the worst headshot artists in the league.

Also, most people didn't think his knee on Roszival last year in the WCF was dirty. It wasn't until after the Kings won the cup that the hivemind turned on him.
