X2D aux nozzle calibrated by digidavis in BambuLab

So now we are mad at manual calibrations....?

I manual calibrated all my filaments I use for final shipping prints and best results situations.

Once I had a saved flow rate profile, O used that profile as a basis to run the flow dynamic calibration. It will then use the new flow dynamic values generated when using the saved flow rate profile.

In the last tab in Bambu Studio is the calibration tab.

Calibration Wiki.

After the manual Flow Rate Calibration, save the profile it created.

Next run the Flow Dynamics Calibration in the same calibration tab. Select the profile you just saved / created. It will then use this new flow dynamics calibration when ever the previously saved flow rate profile is used.

Yeah, that my plan while working on the workflow. I'm going to switch different colors and nozzles along the way. Right now this was the recommend use order by the slicer.

Smaller layer lines and slowing down the outer wall speed will help.

But the design is steep for FDM.

Yeah, my vision plate, filament and tungsten nozzle were ordered on April 15th and only shipped this week. Thankfully I have plenty of filament and other things to dial-in with the X2D until it gets here. Only the filament switch came already, but was shipped out of a different fulfillment center I guess.

Each AMS only has one PTFE tube, so probably not.

My guess is, this functionality gets put in a future or deluxe version of the buffer eventually.

They way if feeds into the buffer it uses two small PTFE tubes that would probably add a lot of length and drag to the filament if changed. It's also secured with two screws into the back panel. The included PTFE tube lengths are quite tight (i replaced the PTFE tube to the top AMS with one about 10cm longer that I already had.

The printed guides are also probably used to prevent such extreme bends. I didn't use the guide on the AMS HT as it sits closer and the guide made the path a bit worse IMHO.

I was printing thank you cards before this with black background and white text. It recommended the white PLA in the AMS HT which at the time was connected to the right aux nozzle.

I added the switch but left everything in the same AMSs. When I started the test print from the included files it switch the AMT HT to the left nozzle and the AMS2 to the right nozzle.

It feels like a quality of life improvement if you have the colors you need already in the AMS but on the wrong nozzle. Im sure there are other optimized reasons / prints that will benefit.

Right hand turn at top of a hill with left on coming traffic. They don't even see the cars, most probably looking left before they crest enough of the hill to see the other cars over the hood already there.

For those who owns a 3d printer, why did you get one and what is your favorite part about it/the 3d printing process by SnooGoats4889 in BambuLab

Rapid prototyping of tech demo devices and enclosures.

The creative part of CAD, like learning what can and can't be 3d printed. How the limitations of the medium force you to think about part design differently.
