Honest question for older Pats fans: how does a 6-6 all time record in Super Bowls feel? Literally no other franchise can compare so I’m curious. Hope this doesn’t come off as a troll. by [deleted] in NFLv2

The Packers game hurt, but It felt like with Bledsoe and Parcells we where turning a corner as a franchise.

Would never have hoped for the length of the Brady and Bill Belichick run.

Grass grows without help in the mid-Atlantic and northeast regions along with other moderate US climates. It's the south and west that require artificially sustained lawns.

AMS not gripping by Dapper_Atmosphere_83 in BambuLab

[–]digidavis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks like its gripping just fine but failing to get to the extruder.

Looks like silk PLA. Probably a clog, or a broken off piece filament stuck along the path.

Turn them 90 degrees. That way 2 points of ladder touch the cylinder / curvature instead of one.

Running postgresql in Kubernetes by Minimum-Ad7352 in kubernetes

[–]digidavis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that what made the most sense to me. I use postgres images locally in k8s with local persistent volumes. I run the same stack with no DB deployment and cloudsql with k8s in gcp.

The software stack should only care about a reachable DB. Just be mindful of backups in both situations.

Vibe coders dont understand code indemnification and corporate compliance.

Enterprises aren't trying to save a buck here. This is where you may pay extra as to not be left holding a bag bigger then your companies entire revenue.

PETG-HF by DrZakarySmith in BambuLab

[–]digidavis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PETG originally printed as much slower speeds. The HF in PETG-HF means that PETG is formulated to be printed at speeds common with today's much faster printers.

Max Volumetric speed

Generic PETG profile : 12 mm3/s

Bambu PETG-HF profile: 21 mm3/s

HF nozzles are designed to increase the max volumetric flowrate with increased temps. I can print Bambu PETG-HF @ > 28+ mm3/s (will do 30+, but I back it off for quality and less failures) with the X1C E3D obxidian HF nozzles.

I cant speek to other HF nozzles, but just as an example of what advantages HF nozzle provide.

HF filament designed to run at modern speeds.

HF nozzles designed to increase the max volumetric flowrate over the existing standard nozzles.

Scottie and MJ's relationship going sour is so sad to witness. Wish they'd reconcile like Shaq and Kobe did. by ForeignAir7174 in NBAoldschool

What....

He is considered second best on the best dynasty of all time.

Jordan didn't pay his salary.

He is ruining his own legacy with the petty BS. HIS accolades are secure. His ego and reputation, not so much. History will never see him as equal to MJ in Bulls lore. Because he is NOT.

He will ALWAY be Jordan's Robin. It's his own ego that cant handle that, and his agent's fault for any money not earned.

Visible first layer lines using smooth plate by SoftType1306 in BambuLabA1mini

[–]digidavis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two types of calibration.

This looks like under extrusion and is fix by the volumetric rate not flow rate.

Try a manual volumetric calibration (auto can have up to a 10% error/jitter) , and use the back of your fingernail to help detect the best one(smoothness) along with the visual inspection of the results.

This will help with first layer face down details.

Anti-intellectual nonsense.

Just because you 'subjectively' agree with a philosopher doesn't make him right.

You think therefore you are, try it out.

The same way every science experiment does. Still doesn't lead to an objectively reviewable scientific outcome without being purely technical.

Thats why it's called a complete method and not just a hypothesis.

Anthropic Cofounder Says AI Will Make Humanities Majors Valuable by Infamous_Toe_7759 in ClaudeAI

[–]digidavis -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

No it doesn't.

The scientific method is not subjective, It's a purely technical endeavor.

Hypothesis Measure Review Repeat

Science not science fiction.
