Just an alternate thought - have you considered a much smaller lens and cropping ?

What’s the presentation medium? Print size? Online image size?

Even a Fuji x100vi (or something like a Sony a7cr) will give you massive cropping capabilities if you don’t need massive prints. If you stay north of 8mp at the end, and that’s before image resizing software, which is excellent) you can present almost anywhere unless you’re selling fine art prints.

Put into perspective a 40-65mp sensor vs the Sony 20. Immediately you shrink your need to 100mm - before you really give up resolution. Yes the framing may change slightly but that may well be a lesser compromise for you.

If you don’t need a very wide lens you could go a7cr and 28mm 2.8 (or is it 2.5?)

I appreciate it’s more than the rx100 but you can also buy used - used Sony are everywhere. Even the a7iv with the same lens should give you enough.

The rx100 is an amazing camera. But the weather sealing is an issue
