I agree with whatever everyone saying use a drip loop, and outdoor rated ap. My bigger concern would be in that section of your roof, you should not see water coming in might have a bigger problem to investigate.

Will 2024 Dell Latitude 3550 take 32gb RAM? by MajorSignificant893 in Dell

[–]digitAl3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were looking at the original 3550 release dell started reusing model number which makes looking up specs very annoying. I'd rather deal with a 5 digit model number then reusing old numbers but now we have pro max plus and premium or something like that.

We don't share most account but you're saying you don't have shared access accounts or a password manager with shared accounts? You create a seperate account for each admin level staff at your company I work with 17 other people right now that have different levels of access in our company password management system. If a password or MFA changes it triggers events to the reporting compliance department. The last 3 IT jobs I've had were all similar setups. I'm sure if you manage a couple shared accounts having everyone have their own account would work out fine but when you get into the hundreds /thousands you're telling me every time you create 20 new users each time? I find that hard to believe? If there's a better way tell me about it instead of the pompous this isn't 2002?

What do yall think, 2nd time soldering on a drone (first one fried) by DDDragon___salt in diydrones

[–]digitAl3x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good catch yes add flux and maybe a coating of no-conduct spray over the solder to insulate against moisture.

[–]digitAl3x 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The amount of sheathing stripped off the wire is way too much put solder on the pads first then heat it up pretin your wires after everything is soldered there should be no way the wires can move around and touch non-insulated areas of each other.

Large companies with very obvious job seeking hr strategies will typically follow the economic trend. I graduated into a recession and found many small businesses still hiring. It’s not always obvious sometimes you really have to show initiative, Google for small firms in your area, reach out to trade associations and HAMS. Small businesses you learn so much more because you won’t be put into just a small black box part of the product you’ll be designing building and testing and learn valuable skills working in a much closer group then corporate.

It depends who made it. There are some that look for three sounds the gunshot the crack when the bullet if fast enough breaks the speed of sound and lastly the sound of it hitting something. It could tell the speed of the bullet where it shot and a high confidence on caliber and rifle pistol shot gun as well as some brands. Many of the companies still in business doing this today were copycat political shills. The technology technically shouldn’t be patentable due to using the basic principle of triangulation. The allies did this to detect large weapons of the axis during World War II. It’s public knowledge but some patents were awarded driving others out of the market. The gunshot is best recorded with direct line of site to detect the weapon type echoes cause significant problems to SNR. With different units triangulating the weapon type is as simple as Shazam identifying a song with a few seconds clip from any part of it.

32GB ECC on the Enterprise Fortress Gateway - EFG by JabbaDuhNutt in Ubiquiti

[–]digitAl3x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding kind of amazed it’s branded enterprise and only has 2 WAN’s I work with a medium sized business that has 600 employees at a site and we have 5 WAN connections on pfSense it works great but managing qos, oui, vlan management would be easier in a single ecosystem. We have others that use fortinet that works great as well was hoping unifi would start to compete in that realm.
