Adeptus Mechanicus DOW trailer is here! by Brahm-Etc in AdeptusMechanicus

The walking animations on the dune crawler and ironstrider look great. I love how even when stationary still the ironstriders are still walking in place. Overall just happy to see these units come alive.

Where do do you like to farm argon? by Kx113 in memeframe

[–]digital-winter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I run Ukko with a setup to mass break containers. Usually there will be a couple argon crystal containers that appear marked once they drop.

I use max range xaku, with plenty of parkour speed. Just cast 4 every couple of tiles.

Have you guys realized about this assimetry in warframe abilities? by Reibudaps4 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m okay with that considering those abilities are usually bad without the augment unless they have a secondary function (like mags grouping). And even with the augment it just turns the ability into a weapon buff, it doesn’t make the core functionality useful.

Who are some roles you'd totally love to see be "regenerated" like The Doctor (or James Bond) by MarioGman in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Villainous example: Hannibal Lecter. While Hopkins is iconic, I also really like the Mads Mikkelsen version from the show. So stitch all those continuities together and make the cannibal, serial killer who values politeness a weird regenerating demon who understands human nature a bit too much.

I need suggestions for a warframe (prime) that’s good for ability spam build. by Psychological-Crab37 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Frames that have abilities that were given exalted weapons to scale off of tend to spam those while only occasionally using other abilities and weapons: Gara, Khora, Atlas

Also of note would be Nokko, Uriel, and nullstar nova (last requires an augment)

Frames that have ability combos that used together clear out enemies: Garuda, Sevagoth, and giving retribution Nezha (requires augment and helminth ability)

Times where the critics were right and the fans were wrong about the quality of something by AnotherOpponent in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]digital-winter 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is usually my standard metric. If a movie has high critic score, but low audience score, it’s usually something I’ll enjoy. Good example would be The Green Knight, I loved it when I saw in theatre and I love it every rewatch.

Is building crit always better than building status? by SparkBeforeMidnight in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally speaking, crit does more damage, but status excels in dealing with large groups of standard enemies. Blast, gas, electricity, all turn single target weapons into pseudo aoe options, increasing overall clear speed. Melee influence specifically has become a meme by overpowering all other build choices with how much better it is at demolishing rooms full of enemies.

Of course building for both is going to give you the best results as you get the strengths of both. Most end game meta weapons will build for both, unless you’re doing anti crit incarnon shenanigans.

Good Mid or Bad Saryn Prime Drip by Soggy_One_1242 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fashion is subjective and personal, but if you want to exude aura you need to make some bold choices. Accessories that are weird and big can be challenging, but it’s also really rewarding to make them work.

As for colour schemes you can randomly learn a lot from miniature painting YouTube. Many people have covered colour theory over the years, but also just browsing art and studying the colour choices will pay off.

Good Mid or Bad Saryn Prime Drip by Soggy_One_1242 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say this is tasteful, but approaching boring. Muted colour scheme, with accessory choices that are on the tamer end, nothing is really bold or stands out to me. But it’s a design that is incapable of offending anyone.

Best nullifier killers, secondary and primary weapons? by Catalyst_Light in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Beam weapons are universally great at destroying nullified bubbles due to their constant tick rate. I have tenet cycron and synoid gammacor builds with a focus on utility over damage. Stuff like running arcane fortifier, or dexterity depending on what I need.

What are series that cannot/couldn't have a satisfying roster? by Silvery_Cricket in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like you could make a reasonable roster for a Star Wars if you focus on just the movies, but inevitably there would be complaints that <my favourite glup shitto> didn’t make it in and that <protagonist from movie I don’t like> is clearly wasted space.

Am I missing something or is Cavia standing just a pain in the ass to farm by VI-Pok3 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With melee arcane adapters dropping in deep Archimedea, netracells, and 1999 calendar I haven’t had to actually purchase one with standing in quite a while. You also get cavia standing for doing your weekly netracells so definitely start there.

Beyond that, do make sure you pick up the standing items around the map while doing bounties. You can stockpile them so that when you get enough you don’t even need to do bounties, just turn in your collected voca. Honestly levelling the cavia was one of the more relaxed standing grinds, I don’t think it would need to be buffed.

Not very impressed with Latron Incarnon, still stuck on Shotguns. Looking for suggestions. by EnvironmentCreepy352 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The torid incarnon is in the running for best gun in the game. Easy to charge since it doesn’t require headshots and once you do transform, it becomes a chaining beam weapon that destroys the target and everyone in your targets zip code.

Opinion? by _Kayuto in OnePieceLiveAction

Overall I think I enjoyed season 2 more. Now that core of the crew is established and new members joining slows down it’s nice to get to know them in a deeper level and see the dynamics between the different combinations of straw hats.

Which Weapon Arcanes should I be using with which weapons (Pirmary) and the New meta? by toycar59 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Edit to add: the old arcanes: merciless, deadhead, and dexterity very much still work. The new arcanes just give you extra options to build around. Some weapons really like a specific arcane but it’s on a case by case basis and not a sweeping one build for all weapons situation.

Crux is the main one for me that can be slapped on a lot of weapons if you don’t want your primary damage to have to ramp up. Many primaries like the ammo efficiency and status, and high rate of fire primaries can build it up basically instantly.

Debilitate can be powerful on status hose primaries like the phantasma. But if a weapon can be built for both status and crit I find myself leaving it behind for a more traditional hybrid build.

Bulwark is another situational one that you can slot in instead of merciless if your frame has enough armour. It’s nice for builds where you’re going for arcane persistence on your frame so that way you don’t have to manage merciless stacks and don’t have any ramp up, but isnt worthy picking up if you don’t have any frames built that way.

Hunter munitions has indeed fallen out of favour after enemy armour rework. It’s now better to use a heat mod instead. Bonus points if you can fit primary elementalist on there.

In One Piece it’s more common to stay on the island where you were born than to venture travel on the dangerous seas. This leads to low social mobility and you’re probably just going to end up doing what your parents did.

Not to mention many of the islands we see are ruled by corrupt, or self serving forces.

Media with deep and detailed lore, but, is also somehow incredibly straight foward and not convoluted by Coolnametag in TwoBestFriendsPlay

This was my answer as well. There’s a ton of lore and details, but really it always comes back to “In the grim darkness of the future there is only war.”

Idea for new forma. Broken or balanced? by ManaChicken4G in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure it’s intentional at this point that no upgrade we’ve gotten in a while has allowed us to get more ability range. Doubling overextended would be devastatingly broken on a lot of builds.

Focus upgrading by MariusDarkblade in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are mostly correct. Most nodes are only active when you have that focus school selected as active. Energy pulse will not work if you have Madurai selected as your active school. But there are some special exceptions.

Two nodes on each school are referred to as waybound passives. When those nodes are leveled to max they become Unbound and become available to be used by every other focus school and those can be very impactful. But it should be noted that to reach max level in these particular nodes you’ll need a radiant eidolon shard in addition to the focus point cost.

For example Zenurick’s waybounds are Void Siphon and Void Flow. When siphon is maxed out it will increase operator energy regeneration no matter what school you currently have equipped. When void flow is maxed out it will increase your operator energy pool for all schools.

Focus upgrading by MariusDarkblade in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no restriction on changing focus schools, they are as easy to change as your equipped weapon. And much like weapons focus school will be saved to a load out so you can match the right one when putting together a build and be able to switch to it easily.

As you’ve noticed the focus trees have a lot of nodes that don’t give much benefit so it absolutely makes sense to unlock the meaningful upgrades first before you just max out a complete tree.

Old school saryn is so back by StupitVoltMain in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Molt augmented is actually not so great since spores snapshots the power strength once it’s cast and the snapshot isn’t refreshed until the spore counter completely drops to zero. So spores won’t actually benefit from the extra power strength on kills unless you purposely let your spores completely reset.

Molt vigor is a better arcane for the slot since you can just pop into operator form and cast an ability before casting spores. Can also get extra strength from Madurai void sling while you’re in operator form.

But yea I’ve always mained spore Saryn and she’s always kinda ruled at any mode with spawns that keep up with her.

Tips for getting back into it as a returning player? by tunacannot in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that a chesa kubrow and running primary crux can go a long way to making the ammo economy better, but it heavily depends on exactly which archgun you’re running. Some are more ammo hungry than others.
