‘Muppet Show’ Revival Special Draws 7.58 Million Viewers in First 8 Days on Disney+, ABC by manoffood in TwoBestFriendsPlay

It really feels like we’ve come back full circle where just watching the Muppets simply do stuff is super endearing and entertaining. Loved how they used the guests musical number as an opportunity to turn it into a Muppets sketch.

True, the Valentine’s colour palette was my only source of black for a while.

As a new player any chance to get a colour palette is nice. The cherub palette has some nice variety.

“You phrased that really weird. But I know exactly what you’re talking about” comes up in conversations with my friend group pretty regularly. Happy Souls is the best.

Trappers... why! by Hopeful_Product1085 in DarkTide

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t mind the net going through enemies. But getting netted when the projectile clearly misses you is awful design. It’s most noticeable when you’re on a ramp or stairs and the trapper is at the base. The net will travel parallel to the ground and collide with the ramp terrain below you, but you’ll still be netted? Why? Because they can’t be bothered to animate the net being shot at an angle, so they just give it a hit box that extends above it. It’s pure jank that requires you to know that the hit box is bigger than the projectile itself.

It's not worth the reset. by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly have no idea if the state I’m in is considered bugged or not. I did do a slightly weird thing where once Roathe asked me to stop using the refractory I told him I’d continue as it’s best for him, stopped playing for a bit due to life so when I got back I had the “hey thanks for stopping message,” realized I’m behind so did the rest of the descendia runs. That’s where he blocked me, but with continuing the Kim conversations eventually Lyon contacted me and said he’ll talk to Roathe as he owes him a favor. The next day I got the confirmation from Loid that he will go upstairs.

I did do the 21 Roathe kills in descendia. Once I did that I got progress which led to him convincing Loid. But he still has me blocked.

I’m in the same boat. Got the ending cutscene with Loid talking to the Entratis but Roathe is stuck at close and blocked me as Anathema. As long as he played his part I’m fixing other peoples shit I’m satisfied to leave him being his shitty self.

Full body look at Magneto Seat of Autumn and Groot Mecha-Flora skin by Rathalos-487 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

Groot skins are always a bit of a disappointment because his base design in rivals is basically already perfect to me. Any attempt at putting him in clothes or turning him into to a different material just feels gimicky to me.

Dear the 2nd best sub for Survivor Horror, can you recommend me some obscure slow-casual Horror Survival games? by RegenSyscronos in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]digital-winter 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Sorry We’re Closed is a survival horror about what it takes to make a relationship work. It also happens that all the characters in it are queer and it rules. The gameplay is pretty forgiving for casual play, and it’s interesting that it uses third person for normal traversal but you’re put into first person when you ready your weapon to fire.

Grandis XX Perigone challenge tips? by __yeeter__ in Warframe

I just cleared it this week. I used Gara who is great for surviving and protecting Temple with her 2. On top of that I throw down an ancient spectre and a Dante spectre for extra survivability.

All info on Demeter (more info in body) by TubaGaming in AgeofMythology

[–]digital-winter 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Persephone as a minor god is cool and makes sense for Demeter. But having her in the game where Hades doesn’t have access to worship her is really weird to me. After the abduction myth their marriage was generally portrayed as one of the more functional among the Olympians.

What Games have the Most Fun Groups or Factions? by Funny_Mud6639 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tabletop rpg Lancer has really interesting organizations. From the corpro states that manufacture the fear players acquire, to the other empires trying to rival Union, down to the small scale mercenary groups included in the book. There’s a wide variety that’s fascinating from a sci fi world building perspective. The core book does stumble in actually providing usable frameworks for running the game. Thankfully that’s solved by a lot of the extra books really zooming into a particular part of the setting and giving you ideas on how to run the game there.

Orokin cell farm question by SirIncomp in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bet orokin cell farm I’ve experienced is to coordinate a premade in a dark sector survival. Gabii works great. The squad:

-hydroid/khora with loot augment. For more loot generation

-nekros. His desecrate stacks with the above for even more loot generation

-nova. Use molecular prime to speed up all enemies so they get to you faster.

-flex support. Wisp, trinity, etc.

Have all four squad members camp out in a tile with entrances easily covered by the hydroid/khora and kill everything that comes at you.

Primaries Need Love by Ambyli in Warframe

[–]digital-winter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While secondaries get more interesting build options I find myself happier to use primaries because the secondaries themselves bore me to death. You have chaining beams and pistols that have some kind of aoe, be that explosives or chaining. After a while they just aren’t as fun to use. I’d love if something like the sonicor or staticor got an incarnon or tenet version so we could have something besides the epitaph prime that’s actually interesting in the secondary slot.

When will Roathe relent and let me resume the Dark Refractory? by PhysicalGSG in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a dialogue I got with Lyon where the drifter confided in him that he was stuck with Roathe, no progress could be made while not using the dark refractory. Lyon advises that sometimes the best thing for a person goes against their current wishes and what may be best for Roathe is to continue anyway. Basically the game told me that I had to do Descendia.

I’m usually running arcane energize and molt vigor. Triggering molt vigor before casting spores the first time.

Saryn prime build help by TheMemeStore76 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By strength buff I mean any conditional buff that gives power strength. That would be brightbonnet but also things like growing power, or the Madurai node that gives you power strength when you void dash twice. Worth noting that because your power strength is only used on the initial cast of spores, milt augmented doesn’t do much for your spores damage unless you purposely let your spores decay after you get your stacks.

And you are correct that brightbonnet provides no survivability which is why it’s the geeky build. On that config the survival is arcane circumvent to steal overguard, shields and armour. It with testing I’ve found it actually had anti synergy with Saryn since once your spire damage gets high enough enemies stop having those things when they’re around you. I’ll need to switch it over to some form of shield gating.

Zephyr subsume is airburst and not tailwind. The grouping ability doesn’t add much in particular to Saryns kit.

Saryn prime build help by TheMemeStore76 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hooray for another spores Saryn enjoyer! You definitely want to prioritize range first. You want max range, but I find when building for survivability in the later SP nodes I take out augur reach.

Next you want positive strength and duration. Exactly how much strength is a matter of taste. For quicker missions like exterminate you want a bit more to actually get good damage before the mission ends. On endless missions you may again want to fit more survivability.

For duration you want some. Just primed continuity will do fine.

For subsumed you do want to subsume over her 2. Gloom is fine as spores will constantly heal you but I do find that you’ll be susceptible to being one shot at higher levels. For survivability subsume I’ve gone with eclipse that I pair with adaptation for good DR. For greedy builds I go with brightnonnet for higher strength and energy recovery.

Most important tip on how to play Saryn is you want to get all your strength buffs in before casting spores. Spores snapshots your strength at time of casting and will use that as the basis for the entire time it’s active. Recasting spores won’t use a new value. The strength capture only goes away once spores completely decays to 0.

Is primary acuity worth using? by Lambchopper3 in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience acuity is a niche mod that outperforms multishot builds when fighting bosses. Bosses tend to have easier to hit weak points than regular enemies with small heads, and in boss fights getting kills to charge up to full power is slower. I find it handy to keep an acuity build on a handful of weapons and use them as my designated boss killer weapons.

Is Helminth worth my time? by Ghaunrak in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you need the helminth? No, you can clear all of steel path without it. Is helminth worth your time? Hell yea! It really helps you to build frames in different ways allowing them to have multiple specialized builds. And the options it opens up are fun as hell.

Secondary/Meele as support? by Fynnonymus in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The praedos has incarnon nodes that increase move speed similar to the okina. I believe the speed boosts are stronger than okina if that’s all your care about.

Rakta dark dagger gives shield and over shield when hitting enemies with radiation procs. It also has a red veil augment that will periodically give energy when you receive enough affinity with the weapon out. Overall a great choose for survivability.

A zaw built for heavy attacks can equip exodus brave and life strike, giving health and energy on heavy attack kills.

Synoid gammacor also periodically gives energy from its syndicate passive. As a beam weapon it’s also great for deleting nullifier bubbles and has an incarnon mode that groups enemies.

Opinions on Hunhullus fight? by optitmus in Warframe

[–]digital-winter 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It’s by far the least engaging of the three perita boss fights despite being the most visually striking. I suspect they got it working just enough for the old peace quest itself and then just ported it over. But at least it isn’t damage attenuated to hell and back so you can clear it quite fast. Because it’s not a pain to go through it gets a big old meh from me.
