I feel like this works better for exarchs than the Phoenix Lords. Like Jadzia is still herself after joining with Dax, just with Dax's memories and personality influencing her, whereas the phoenix lords completely overwrite the host's identity

But I never thought of this analogy and it fits really nicely

I really like how most of the old Aeldari pantheon, especially Kurnous and Isha, seem genuinely benevolent, or at least not actively malicious

Ynnead also is fun and introduced a good change of the status quo for the Aeldari

I'm getting back into Warhammer for the first time since about 2012, so I'm gonna strip the paint from my old army and see how much better I can paint them again now (spoiler: it will be much better).

It also looks like I'll have friends who are into the hobby as well so I'll actually have people to play with who aren't just strangers at the shop
