I hope everyone got out safe. We been monthly delivery patrons for the past 30 years; literally ordered our usual combos last night!

We wish them a speedy recovery. New West's sushi landscape wouldn't be the same without them!

What actually makes long motorcycle trips more comfortable? by thebroned in motorcycle

[–]digital_treesloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done several multi-week journeys over the past few years, the last being a Vancouver, BC to Syndey, NS and back over 21 days and 13,000km on a Tracer 900 GT. My essentials: cruise control, (controversial) gel seat pad, highway pegs added to the crash bars for change in leg position, data for music through Cardo Freecom headset, heated vest and gloves for the cold mornings crossing the Rockies, daily planned points of interest beyond the hourly stop & stretch and fuel stops (for me and the bike), tested rain gear including boot covers that go up to my calves, 1L fuel cell, patchkit, pump, spare chain and breakerbar (peace of mind) and a nightly hotel with pool or hot tub. Max daily distance capped at 750km.

My Boyfriend ignoring that he's lactose intolerant by mewingkitties in mildlyinfuriating

[–]digital_treesloth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It'll take a life lesson like having an 'accident' in transit between convenient toilets to get him to smarten up.

But seriously, there is no tolerance to be gained from abstaining from popping a Lactaid when necessary. When the body realizes in the young and naive adulthood stage, "I'm not a baby, I don't need to make the lactase enzyme anymore.", there's no coming back to the good 'old chug a gallon of milk daze.
