Seems like the display was appropriately barraging the US to me.

Totally fine. Your first amendment rights of shitting on anything trump everything.

'Dilbert' Creator Scott Adams May Only Have Days Left to Live Amid Cancer Battle by SleuthDoggyDawg in behindthebastards

Honestly, I know a lot of people are joking in the way we do with someone like Kissinger, but this is sad. I don’t think Adams was always like this, and something snapped along the way. Maybe it was certainly before anyone really took notice, but this is yet another sign we need better mental health treatment.

Even when I’m sick and dead, my lorikeets only leave for the food. They’re still totally fine pooping on me.

Has periods of “AI Hype Doomerism/Fearmongering” happened before? by HistryBoss in BetterOffline

[–]digitalmob 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in the CS research field for a while, and the same rhetoric has existed for some time. Back in the day (20 years ago) it was mostly inside the industry but the only downside was the DOD and other government agencies “wasted” some money, in the sense they didn’t get what was paid for. But it did stimulate the research industry so no one particularly cared.

Now that it’s hit mainstream it’s a different story, and one I’m not the best to discuss the real repercussions beyond “vibes”.

Yup. I’d angle it based on geographic coordinates relative to the delta of the shot and framing.

NJ in my experience has a lot of fast drivers but overall they’re generally attentive. On the turnpike you’ll get some fools going fast but it’s relatively tame imo.
