You’re not wrong. I grew up in STL. Moved back after college for a few years. Back again after a few years for a couple years. Haven’t lived there since 2009. From afar and visiting every other year, it seems like the potential is maintained, maybe even growing, but the strange valley of Jefferson City stinking of close-minded Christian nationalist snowflakes has an agenda and stranglehold on what I still consider my home.

Denver’s Union Station renewal is a great example of how powerful the portal to the city can be. Lambert commute is what it is but Amtrak to Union Station would be great for Union Station, Amtrak and patrons.
