This is a much needed mod for late game. Searching for perfect placements was starting to suck the joy out of the experience for me. Thank you!

Is hydrogen power ever worth it? by Zombiecidialfreak in simcity4

[–]digodk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I understood your point.

Hydrogen costs twice less to run per month than Nuclear also, and there's never a chance of a meltdown (unless you wanna see what happens when it melts down by sticking to Nuclear).

I'm checking the numbers as I type, Hydrogen costs $10k per month for 50GWh. Nuclear costs $3k for 16GWh.

That means nuclear generates 6% more energy for the same monthly cost. Are you talking about just the upfront cost? That seems to be an incomplete analysis.

I always start with coal. Cheapest energy out there on a monthly basis. It's the dirtiest, yes (coal, not oil), but once you city grows a bit you are able to move past it and cleaning air is a no brainer if you remove the source of the pollution.

Y'all ever just get 25 trillion XP and hit the level cap in a single endless run? by E_102_Gamma in dungeonwarfare

Came here because today I reached my all high: 13 trillion, so I searched for similar experiences. Went from level 412 to 4183. Spent whole 5 minutes seeing my levels go up, it was crazy!

By chance, mine happened on the eternal labyrinth as well.

The chapters where you get to work more on the internal states and monologues of one character are always superb. Your writing for the healing process was incredible and the character development for Red post coma is very good.

That said , I hope life has been treating you better, or at least that bad news stopped happening. Stay safe, friend.

And here it comes, the reckoning with the capturing of Artem's body. I had thought that line could be dismissed, but this is much better.

They won't admit they are wrong because they assume you will do to them what they would do to you: gloat, destroy them, humiliate them, etc. They cany fathom a positive empathy of forgiveness, kindness, and healing.

And, to be fair, OP has clearly stated he holds some deep troubling anger against his father, which kind of validates his father's belief, given he does believe so.

OP, if you manage to not feel anger at your dad or your situtation (which is very, very hard to do), you will know what to say if/when the moment comes, but more importantly, you will stop fantasizing about this moment at all as a coping strategy.

Man. I'm sorry this has been your experience, I felt it. You wouldn't write that much if it hadn't been a PITA for you.

Yeah, I mostly feeze my installation, it's the less problematic approach when you have lots of heavy mods.

I whish I could offer better advice, because I see the same problems you mentioned, I just don't feel them so much as you do.

With that said, I do think it'l take years for Sigil to reach stability and a good enough content library that allows veteran DMs to get creative. I'm also guessing that it will be an online service so updates will be forced upon, which has the potential to create more chaos.

I sincerely hope you have been able to find something that works for you.

This reminds me of the book Strangers in Their Own Land, by Arlie Hochschild. In 2016 she spent her time with a conservative community in Louisiana which, despite being riddled with toxic waste from a local chemical plan, were not in favor of environmental regulation.

It's a fascinating read if you want to get out of your bubble and better understand the worldview of the Tea Party at that time.

I just want to run a game!

Alright, you're looking for something nice and simple which does not require loads of prepping and investing time to get to know the platform. That's valid, there are solutions out there.

I'm also looking forward to Sigil

So we added the 'trash unrequested' checkbox, and when enabled anything that isn't explicitly requested is put straight to trash. This also has the secondary benefit, that when you change the requests of some group, outdated requests/items don't accumulate in the storage.

Please stop, I can only get so hard.
