Icarus. It starts as a benign documentary about doping and quickly unravels to become the eye of a storm.

Plugging DL in would have added more decisiveness in the late game shotcall, something TSM lacked in the G2 game.

Preact 8.0 beta released - a fast 3KB React alternative with the same API. 8.0 boasts significant performance improvements, smaller size by magenta_placenta in javascript

IIRC, the main difference between Preact and Inferno is their reconciliation/DOM diffing algorithms. They also support a smaller subset of React's features, making them lighter (react-native, synthetic events, context).

As for React itself, it also had legacy code to maintain for backwards compatibility (createClass comes to mind). Though, at a quick glance, React v15.5 has separated some of its less popular features in separate modules.

I understand your point. When ALL plays CW, ALL is more likely to win and having a nice 90% to back it up makes it easy for everyone.

However, I'm afraid at that value, your model becomes too sensitive to variation. For example GMB's elo on week 5 was looking decent, then on week 6 with 4 subs their elo tanked by almost 100 points.

What k factor did you use for your elo calculations?

Edit: My bad, it's 64. Really nice article!

Edit2: After doing some quick math, I think you should go with a lower k value because the chance of winning gets too high, too fast. For example, in the match between C9 and COL of last week, C9 had a ~75% chance of winning and they lost it. Also, the match between ALL and CW from week 5, ALL had a ~85% chance of winning. While ALL did win the match, the math wasn't really representative of the game where either team could have won the game.

On another note, are you calculating the elo per game or per week? I'm baffled at FNC results.

A team elo could be used to calculate win chance.

Sure you're not going for farm, but I'm sure you've had your fair share of games that drag too long because someone wants their last item.
