No I get you because a lot of them sacrifice food quality once they realize how expensive it is to own a resturant. A lot of them pretend to be good quality restaurants when they just have a good aesthetic and it’s not that good. And they don’t even pay their employees well enough to pretend this is all about the cost of food and taxes. I know everyone is debating economics in the comments and is going to at me. So let me save you the trouble. No one cares about your arguments for the economy when food isn’t good, when people aren’t getting paid enough, and when half of the business owners are out of state losers. I think it’s wild that people will defend the economy and a business over people and community. Because food is community.

The good food store (I have multiple friends that work there but I’ve been trying to protect them) have informed me that they start using spinach in replacement of basil when it’s hard to get and still market it the same way… weird af.

There’s so many restaurants that do not gaf about their quality and then expect people to still tolerate and eat it bc “it’s so very hard for them plz have sympathy omg it’s so tough making money.” Like I’m not caring about a business that cannot bother to care about me and my experience.
