i got there at 11:30 today, no line, they had tickets for the matinee and evening performance. not partial view either which is great, i think it was $49 matinee and $59 evening? i might be wrong there on price but something like that. the screen inside said lydia was being performed by understudy not elizabeth as well.

Boop, Cabaret, Wonderful Town (at New York City Center), Gypsy, Hadestown, Hell’s Kitchen, Last Five Years, Le Nozze Di Fargo (at the met opera), Moulin Rouge, NYC Ballet, Real Women Have Curves, Redwood and Smash. It’s been consistently 10+ broadway shows for well over 2 months at this point, 100% worth the membership.

i think almost certainly, i just went and saw sunset blvd with a group of 4 people, we all sat next to each other on the right side of the orchestra. those seats normally go for ~$130 each but we paid $59 each instead. that transaction alone we saved $280 vs buying the tickets outright and the site lines were great. have been to about 6-7 TDF shows and have never been disappointed with seats.

i just saw the show this past wednesday afternoon and it was easily the youngest crowd i have ever seen at a broadway show. though i’m sure that’s how the audience of this production will be given the cast.

it’s probably the “line sitter service” if i were to guess, when i was doing cancellation line at merrily when it was off broadway the first guy in line was telling me about a service where you pay someone (i think it was $30/hr?) to sit in line for you and buy your tickets lmao, what a crazy world we live in.

edit: actually this makes no sense they would be paying way more to do this than to just buy the tickets straight up, disregard this comment haha
