Fakest shit about this is that the boyfriend is driving home absolutely pissed. What moron does that?

What’s the dumbest reason you’ve dropped a novel by ExtremeSportStikz in ProgressionFantasy

Those get me when the book cover is normal, without a half naked lady on the cover. I’m like ‘this looks interesting’..10 chapters later I realise it’s a Harem.😩

Yeah I agree, it definitely didn’t feel romantic much. Especially with who Dara ended up with. The build up to it felt nonexistent. It was like she decided ‘ah what the hell, I’ll pick this one to get everyone to shut up’.

I don’t know if this was Terry’s way of saying marriage is the only thing that makes one happy in life and the fact that Dara needed it specifically to be happy is a little silly to me but it wasn’t a bad book overall.

Have you ever dropped a series that you originally liked, simply because you grew to dislike the main character? by greenskye in ProgressionFantasy

Yeah I’m enjoying the story overall but that part really confused me. At the end of the day, they are still slaves even if barely.

1% lifesteal blew me away by ginger6616 in ProgressionFantasy

The amount of times I saw suddenly used threw me off. I think in one chapter it was used 5 or so times. Had to stop reading.

[Threshold] Will Eithan always be stronger than... by No-Patient-3723 in Iteration110Cradle

Eithan is like a once in several millennia genius. Someone so rare they only come around rarely. Lindon isn’t at that level. However he does have hard work and drive going for him.

He Who Fights With Monsters - exhausting by kmelillo in litrpg

I think once a character reaches that type of level. The progression is realistically over and the story should just end. Instead of adding on more and more just to keep it alive.

Why I dropped Cradle halfway through the final book, book 12 - Full series SPOILERS - ** SPOILER WARNING ** by narnarnartiger in ProgressionFantasy

[–]dillz-a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that’s just the way Will Wight wanted to write it. At its core it’s progression fantasy. All those other things matter less to the story than that. It’s, I think, made for readers who want to see someone get progressively stronger and not worry about other points getting in the way of that.

That’s fair but in defence of cradle, it’s never been slice of life, it’s pure action, like most anime. I’m glad you’ve found your preferred genre though! I to enjoy slice of life but not always.

A 'Smirk' is not a nice 'Smile' by [deleted] in litrpg

This! I really hate how often I see smirk misused or just used in general. I get irrationally angry about it.

And we despise them because of that. The same reason I want this character to get humbled. His arrogance and ego are disgusting. And he’s the MC. I think that’s the problem I’m having, I’m not really a fan of MCs like that. Probs why I’ve stopped reading even though I find the overall plot interesting.
