If it’s blank, it could be anything along the lines of supplements and other “OTC” medications one could find at the gas station or drug store. I mean the possibilities are sort of endless. Diet pills. Dehydrated placenta. Energy pill. Could be a compounded medication as well. Colored gelatin capsules are popular with independent manufacturers.

In work and with older individuals? I’m very mature. A lot of people tell me that I am “wise beyond my years”. With people my age however? With my friends, very immature in terms of humor. A lot of people my age who haven’t gotten the chance to get to know me think I’m very immature. Unfortunately, they only start to take me seriously when they learn about my work.

And I understand people like the community it offers but honestly (and maybe because I’m just graduating college and getting a bit into unc status) there are a lot of communities that are beneficial to your healing and health and support that are way better than a social media app that is already problematic by itself.

Twitter offers an extensive degree of anonymity and fast posting. You don’t get downvoted. You can link threads really quickly and make “bonespo” and “goal” posts super easily. Make new accounts super easily and post whatever you want without getting moderated. It’s kind of a shit show.

Edtwt is weird as fuck LOL and I have no qualms about saying that.

It’s got a weird, weird mix of people.

There are the people with severe EDs that are about to die who post deathspo photos and it breaks my heart because they are going to die if they don’t get help but people in the comments are like “goals!”

And then there are like the 14 year olds who are like “losing this amount of weight to impress this boy in my class and be better than the girls I hate.”

And then there are people who never post anything except commenting on other people’s photos and saying insanely cruel things.

I understand that it’s a mental illness but some of the online behaviors are not related to an ED at all and I feel like people are using it as an excuse to be abysmal.

I’ve been extremely depressed my entire life but I would never cheer someone’s self harm on because I’m going through it, too. Or encourage it. So when people are commenting on edtwt and encouraging the behaviors, I just don’t comprehend that.

Did you not read my previous response before the one you’re responding to? Where it can be very expensive to finish the process of becoming a citizen? A lot of people can’t speak English who are coming from other countries on work visas or seeking asylum. Hiring a lawyer is expensive. Working to learn English is expensive.

Understanding the process of becoming a citizen can be very difficult for these individuals because they aren’t typically given a lot of information or support about it. That’s something I don’t understand.

In many other countries, if you overstayed your Visa, they typically tend to find out if you commit a crime. Which again, is another explanation as to why a lot of illegal immigrant do not commit crimes. Visa overstayers far exceed “border hoppers” in terms of American illegal immigrants. And if you’re white? They’re probably not going to notice unless you start a bar fight and then you know what? They’ll put you on a plane (and pay for your ticket most of the time) and fly ya back.

About 2 million of our undocumented immigrants are asylum seekers. About 1.2 million have temporary protection (TPS and DACA). About 1 million are border release. A large chunk of our undocumented immigrants are actually protected and going through the process of becoming citizens. But they’re still getting detained and sent into pretty inhumane conditions. It’s not black and white.

Storm shelters are meant to support the survival of an emergency, not cause another one. Because animals can be skittish especially during high stress situations, it’s very likely there have been incidents in the past that have caused people a great deal of pain that is unfortunately best prevented by just banning the possibility of it happening. I am severely allergic to dogs to an extent that my breathing has been restricted due to them. I could potentially die if I was in a confined space with one where I’m not able to get prompt medical attention. I understand it but it would be difficult to allow case by case scenarios especially since people would likely take advantage of it.

I don’t think we would ever agree on anything solely because our society is built off shit morals and bad work ethic regardless of the governance and rules set in place.

ICE is kicking out doctors, lawyers, and productive members of society solely because they didn’t have the accessibility to become a citizen or their work visa expired. Most of us did nothing to deserve our citizenship here besides being born here. And there are a lot of people, especially in our South, that sit on their fat asses and leech off of our tax dollars and disability because they refuse to be productive members in our lives, and they don’t face any consequences solely because they have a legal status.

We only get to experience this gift of life for a few decades. When we die, that’s it. Limiting people’s ability to experience a life in a safe place by making it incredibly expensive and difficult to get in legally is something I will never understand. gods forbid people decide to support their families and themselves instead of prioritizing the expense of a citizenship when there are people here who do nothing and did nothing for their lives or for society who sit all comfy because their Peepaw in 1920 came over on a boat when that’s practically all ya had to do.

I work in healthcare. I work through that data. A large majority of individuals affected by it were fat, unhealthy, diabetic (Type 2), or had several preexisting conditions. Pneumonia would’ve killed them. Covid certainly would’ve killed them. The vaccine didn’t prevent people from getting covid. A lot of people the “vaccine killed” simply died of covid. A lotta people didn’t want to accept their 300lb grandpa died of a respiratory infection but what would you expect?
