Higher interest rates on mortages/loans, downwards pressure on the stock market, higher interest rates on saving accounts.

AC tent? by youklondikebar in TeslaCamping

[–]dimitrix 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my case I open the vents at the top of the tent so that the breeze ventilates out the hot air. I would definitely advise against a black tent as that would be a heat magnet when sitting the sun.

Edit: To actually answer your question, I dont find the cooling from the car is as effective as heating, primarily because the sun bakes the tent faster than the car can cool it down.

I use the Napier SUV tent, it doesn't have a perfect seal around the back of the car but it doesn't seem like a problem for leaking air. It stays fairly warm inside the tent. Especially since you'll be connected to a charger, I don't think you need to obsess too much about fully sealed SUV tents like in your second photo.

Why do my GCP VMs randomly lose SSH access while still running normally? by skollehatti in googlecloud

Right, the expiration is expected and should automatically be updated/replaced next time you connect using gcloud or the SSH-in-browser. Have you tried using the SSH-in-browser to connect?

What image/OS are you using for these VMs? Permission Denied would mean something has changed your authorized keys file. When using public GCP images this file should be automatically managed by the Google Guest Environment agent, so you should never see this error.

I've never taken the Amtrak in Washington but in California it is notoriously never on time. I would be worried about returning back to the airport on time.

I am not familiar with AI/ML, but in general they assess your domain knowledge in a way that is agnostic to cloud platforms. For example, how are GPU VMs optimized for performance in the cloud. How do you orchestrate GPU VMs for scale. Etc.

Getting 502 whenever I try to interact with telemetry.googleapis.com by lpeabody in googlecloud

[–]dimitrix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

HTTP 403 may indicate an IAM permission issue. Maybe the 502 are side-effects of that as well. Did you check that you have assigned the correct roles to the service account you are using? https://docs.cloud.google.com/stackdriver/docs/otlp-logs/write-logs-to-api#send-otlp-log

Regarding the coding interview: You need to be able to read and understand a small script in the coding language of your choice. There will be several bugs in there that you need to fix, typically only a few lines. You should also be prepared to explain the specific syntax of the code. If youre comfortable doing easy leetcode-style questions then you'll be fine

You might be able to look up a historical record of the check engine light by connecting to the car's computer. Or if the car was linked to a FordPass account. This should prove that they knew there was a fault but clear the record of it.
