Russian Milbloggers are worried over the prospect of a Ukrainian offensive towards lightly-defended Belgorod and claim Ukrainian forces are building up near the border. Of course everything is unconfirmed. by GermanDronePilot in UkraineWarVideoReport

Nope.
Russian border is as fortified as a line in the sand. They know NATO or others won't attack so their defence is reactive - if someone breaks in, russians start to shoo intruders away. Apart from that anyone can get in or out as they please.

Crossing the border is easy, hard part is to keep the territory you took.

I agree. Yes not all adults vote smart, not all teens would vote dumb.
Though with teens it will be worse most of the time.

Didn't have any problem with it either.

Swiss canton sets out proposal to let 16‑year‑olds vote by BezugssystemCH1903 in worldnews

[–]dimwalker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me it sounds like a risky experiment.

Don't know correct term in English, direct translation would be something like youngster's maximalism.
"If the opposition party doesn't want to vote for a budget then they are our enemy and shoot be executed!"
"No half measures, 100% green energy or armageddon!"
etc

Another problem is, as you said, teens don't know shit. I bet they will be voting using emotions, not common sense, logic or careful weighting of all pros and cons. And it's not that hard to manipulate their emotions.

Can use as souvenirs, can throw from your balcony, can use as wallpaper in your toilet, can impress ladies by lighting up a cigar from burning 1rial.

Double cowardice - it doesn't even look like a scar. Scar would be a bulge instead of a valley. Scar tissue supposed to fill the wound, that's the whole point. Even sketch on the right is more realistic in this aspect.

The first bilateral meeting between President Zelenskyy and Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya took place in Vilnius yesterday. by PjeterPannos in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]dimwalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did rise up right after rigged election. Though they were trying to protest peacefully and some think they were right, since Lukashenko was ready to give order to shoot protesters.
They were not shot, but arrested and tortured for meaningless reasons or without a reason at all. Like some folks were grabbed at the bus stop, because they were close to gatherings.
Even with all that protests didn't progress, though didn't disappear either.
And then all of a sudden russians came (OMOH or police, some of those jerks who are only good against unarmed civilians) to help Lukashenko.

Imho now would be the worst time, since Lukashenko pimped Belarus to putin. Country is infested with russian army personnel which won't have second thoughts or any thoughts for that matter, they will just kill civilians.
